양구 방산중, 김민섭 작가 초청 교육공동체 북토크 개최

방산중학교(교장 이용수)는 7월 8일 교내 도서관에서 『김민섭 찾기 프로젝트』의 저자이자 TV 프로그램 ‘유 퀴즈 온 더 블록’ 출연으로 잘 알려진 김민섭 작가를 초청해 전교생과 교사, 학부모가 함께하는 교육공동체 북토크를 개최했다.

 On July 8, Bangsan Middle School (Principal Lee Yong-su) hosted a community book talk in its school library, inviting author Kim Min-seop—known for The Kim Min-seop Project and his appearance on the television program You Quiz on the Block. Students, teachers, and parents gathered together to participate in the meaningful event.

이번 북토크는 ‘인공지능(AI) 시대에 우리가 가져야 할 다정함과 선한 영향력’을 주제로 진행됐다. 참가자들은 행사에 앞서 『당신이 잘되면 좋겠습니다』와 『우리는 조금 더 다정해도 됩니다』를 함께 읽고, 독후감 작성과 책갈피 만들기 등 다양한 독서활동을 통해 작가와의 만남을 준비했다.

 The event focused on the theme, “Kindness and Positive Influence We Need in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” Prior to the talk, participants read I Hope You Succeed and We Can Be a Little Kinder, sharing book reviews, creating bookmarks, and engaging in various reading activities to prepare for their meeting with the author.

#김민섭 작가는 강연에서 “주변 사람에게 전하는 작은 다정함과 ‘잘되면 좋겠다’는 응원이 모여 세상을 바꾸는 선한 영향력이 된다”며 “인공지능(AI) 시대일수록 사람을 향한 공감과 배려의 가치가 더욱 중요하다”고 강조했다. 이어진 질의응답에서는 학생과 교사, 학부모가 함께 소통하며 생각을 나누는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.

 During his lecture, Kim Min-seop emphasized that “small acts of kindness and sincere wishes for others’ success can come together to create a powerful positive influence that changes the world.” He added that “as artificial intelligence becomes more advanced, empathy and consideration for others become even more valuable.” The event concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session where students, teachers, and parents openly exchanged thoughts with the author.

#이용수 교장은 “이번 북토크가 학생들이 공감과 배려의 가치를 배우고, 인공지능(AI) 시대에 더욱 필요한 따뜻한 인성을 키우는 계기가 되었기를 바란다”고 말했다.

 Principal Lee Yong-su expressed his hope that the event would help students better understand the importance of empathy and consideration while fostering the warm character and humanity that will be increasingly essential in the AI era.

방산중학교는 앞으로도 학생들이 책을 통해 세상과 소통하고 올바른 가치관을 형성할 수 있도록 독서·인문학 교육을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.

Bangsan Middle School plans to continue expanding its reading and humanities education so that students can communicate with the world through books and develop sound values for the future.
