양구교육지원청, 설 명절 앞두고 사회복지시설 위문으로 이웃사랑 실천

강원특별자치도 양구교육지원청(교육장 김애자)은 민족 고유의 명절인 설을 앞두고, 2월 10일(화) 관내 사회복지시설인 천사의 집과 로뎀의 촌을 방문해 쌀을 전달하며 이웃사랑을 실천했다.

Ahead of the Lunar New Year, the Yanggu Office of Education, headed by Superintendent Kim Ae-ja, visited local social welfare facilities—Angel’s Home and Rodem Village—on Tuesday, February 10, delivering rice and sharing warm compassion with the community.

이번 위문은 설 명절을 맞아 지역 내 교육 소외계층 아동·청소년과 장애인 이웃들이 소외감 없이 따뜻한 연휴를 보낼 수 있도록 격려하기 위해 마련됐다. 양구교육지원청은 매년 명절마다 지역사회의 어려운 이웃을 살피며 나눔 문화를 확산하는 데 앞장서고 있다.

This visit was arranged to encourage underprivileged children, youth, and people with disabilities in the local community so they may enjoy the holiday season without feeling isolated. The Yanggu Office of Education has consistently led efforts to promote a culture of sharing by supporting vulnerable neighbors during major holidays each year.

이날 김애자 교육장을 비롯한 양구교육지원청 관계자들은 준비한 위문 물품을 전달하고, 시설 종사자 및 입소자들과 덕담을 나누며 현장의 애로사항을 청취하는 등 소통의 시간을 가졌다. 특히 전달된 물품은 양구 지역에서 생산된 쌀을 구매해 지역 농가와의 상생 의미를 더했다.

Superintendent Kim Ae-ja and officials from the Yanggu Office of Education personally delivered the donated items, exchanged warm greetings with staff and residents, and listened to on-site concerns. Notably, the rice provided was sourced from local Yanggu farms, further emphasizing mutual growth and cooperation with the regional agricultural community.

#김애자 교육장은 “설 명절을 맞아 우리 주변의 이웃들에게 작게나마 온기와 희망이 전해지기를 바란다”라며, “앞으로도 양구교육지원청은 교육행정뿐만 아니라 지역사회와 동행하며 소외된 이웃을 살피는 청렴하고 따뜻한 나눔 활동을 지속해 나가겠다”라고 말했다.

Superintendent Kim stated, “I hope this small gesture brings warmth and hope to our neighbors during the Lunar New Year,” adding, “The Yanggu Office of Education will continue to pursue transparent and compassionate initiatives, standing alongside the community while caring for those in need beyond educational administration.”
