동해시, 대만 국제관광박람회 참가! 해외 관광객 유치 나선다

동해시와 동해문화관광재단은 오는 5월 22일부터 25일까지 대만 타이베이 세계무역센터에서 열리는 ‘2026 타이베이 국제 관광박람회(TTE)’에 참가해 해외 관광객 유치와 글로벌 관광마케팅에 나선다고 밝혔다.

Donghae and the Donghae Culture & Tourism Foundation announced that they will participate in the “2026 Taipei International Travel Fair (TTE)” held at the Taipei World Trade Center in Taiwan from May 22 to 25 to promote global tourism marketing and attract overseas visitors.

東海市與東海文化觀光財團表示，將於5月22日至25日參加在台灣台北世界貿易中心舉辦的「2026台北國際觀光博覽會（TTE）」，積極推動全球觀光行銷並吸引海外旅客。

 대만은 한국 관광 선호도와 재방문율이 높은 대표적인 방한 시장으로, 개별 자유여행객(FIT) 비중이 높아 해양·체험형 관광자원을 보유한 동해시와의 관광 연계 가능성이 높은 지역이다.

 Taiwan is one of the leading inbound tourism markets for Korea, showing high preference and repeat-visit rates. With a high proportion of Free Independent Travelers (FIT), Taiwan is considered highly compatible with Donghae’s marine and experiential tourism resources.

 台灣是韓國旅遊的重要客源市場之一，對韓國旅遊的喜好度與重遊率相當高。由於自由行旅客（FIT）比例高，與擁有海洋及體驗型觀光資源的東海市具有高度旅遊連結潛力。

시는 박람회 기간 동해시 홍보관을 운영하며 무릉별유천지 라벤더축제, 추암해변, 묵호권 관광지, 망상해변 등 대표 관광자원을 중심으로 계절별 관광콘텐츠와 야간관광, 체험형 콘텐츠를 집중 홍보할 계획이다.

 During the fair, Donghae City will operate a promotional booth featuring key attractions such as the Lavender Festival at Mureung Byeolyucheonji, Chuam Beach, Mukho tourism district, and Mangsang Beach. Seasonal tourism programs, night tourism, and hands-on experiential content will also be actively promoted.

 展覽期間，東海市將設置宣傳館，重點推廣武陵別有天地薰衣草節、湫岩海邊、墨湖觀光區及望祥海水浴場等代表性景點，同時介紹四季觀光、夜間旅遊及體驗型觀光內容。

또한 관광홍보영상 상영, 홍보물 배부, 동해시 특산품 묵호태 키링 만들기 체험, SNS 이벤트 등을 진행하며 현지 관광객들의 관심을 유도할 예정이다.

 The city will also organize promotional video screenings, distribute tourism materials, host a DIY Mukho Pollack keyring-making experience featuring Donghae specialties, and run SNS events to attract local visitors’ interest.

此外，現場還將播放觀光宣傳影片、發放旅遊宣傳資料、舉辦東海市特產「墨湖太」鑰匙圈DIY體驗及SNS社群活動，以吸引當地民眾關注。

 아울러 대만 현지 여행업계와 B2B 상담을 통해 단체·개별관광 상품 연계 방안을 논의하고, 해외 관광 네트워크 확대와 외국인 관광객 유치 기반 마련에도 나선다.

In addition, Donghae City plans to hold B2B meetings with Taiwanese travel agencies to discuss group and FIT tourism packages while expanding its global tourism network and strengthening the foundation for attracting international tourists.

 同時，東海市也將與台灣當地旅行業者進行B2B洽談，討論團體及自由行旅遊商品合作方案，進一步拓展國際觀光網絡並建立吸引外國旅客的基礎。

#이진화 관광과장은 “동해시는 바다와 산, 감성 관광지와 체험형 콘텐츠를 함께 즐길 수 있는 관광도시”라며 “해외 관광박람회와 현지 마케팅을 지속 추진해 글로벌 관광도시 이미지 제고에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

#Lee Jinhwa, Director of the Tourism Division, said, “Donghae is a tourism city where visitors can enjoy the sea, mountains, emotional attractions, and experiential content all together,” adding, “We will continue participating in international tourism fairs and local marketing activities to strengthen Donghae’s image as a global tourism city.”

觀光科科長李鎭和表示：「東海市是一座能同時享受大海、山林、感性景點與體驗型內容的觀光城市。」並表示：「未來將持續參加海外旅遊博覽會與在地行銷活動，提升東海市作為全球觀光城市的形象。」
