강삼영 교육감, 강원교육장학회 이사장에 선출

강원특별자치도교육청(교육감 강삼영)은 지난 20일(목), 재단법인 강원교육장학회 이사회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

The Gangwon State Office of Education, led by Superintendent Kang Sam-young, announced that the Gangwon Education Scholarship Foundation held a meeting of its board of directors on Thursday, August 20.

이날 이사회에서는 강삼영 교육감이 신임 이사로 취임한 데 이어 강원교육장학회 이사장으로 선출됐다.

At the meeting, Superintendent Kang Sam-young was appointed as a new board member and subsequently elected chair of the Gangwon Education Scholarship Foundation.

#강삼영 신임 이사장은 “강원의 아이들이 지역에서 꿈을 키우고, 그 꿈이 다시 강원의 내일을 키우는 힘이 되는 선순환이 필요하다”며, “그 길에서 강원교육장학회가 아이들의 꿈과 성장을 든든하게 뒷받침하는 디딤돌이 되겠다”라고 말했다.

Newly elected Chair Kang Sam-young said, “We need to create a virtuous cycle in which our children can pursue their dreams here in Gangwon, and those dreams, in turn, become a driving force for Gangwon’s future. The Gangwon Education Scholarship Foundation will serve as a strong stepping stone, supporting our students as they pursue their dreams and continue to grow.”

재단법인 강원교육장학회는 학생들이 자신의 가능성을 펼치고 미래 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 장학사업을 추진하고 있다.

The Gangwon Education Scholarship Foundation operates scholarship programs designed to help students realize their potential and grow into talented individuals who will shape the future.

올해도 도내 초·중·고·특수학교 학생 가운데 성실하고 모범적인 학생을 발굴해 장학금을 지원할 예정이다.

This year, the foundation plans to identify diligent and exemplary students from elementary, middle, high, and special education schools across Gangwon and provide them with scholarships to support their continued growth and education.
