강원특별자치도교육청, 국어책임관 공동연수 개최

Gangwon State Office of Education Holds Joint Training for Korean Language Officers

강원특별자치도교육청은 5월 11일(월) 교육연수원 횡성분원 보람홀에서 ‘2026년 강원특별자치도교육청 국어책임관 및 업무담당자 공동연수’를 개최했다.

The Gangwon State Office of Education held the “2026 Joint Training for Korean Language Officers and Staff Members” on Monday, May 11, at the Boram Hall of the Hoengseong branch of the Education Training Institute.

이번 연수는 교육지원청과 직속기관의 국어책임관 및 업무담당자를 대상으로 진행되었으며, 변화하는 언어사용 환경에 능동적으로 대응하고 기관 내 올바른 국어 사용을 촉진하기 위해 마련되었다.

The training was organized for Korean language officers and related staff from regional education offices and affiliated institutions to help them actively respond to changing language environments and promote proper Korean language usage within public institutions.

국어책임관은 기관의 국어 발전과 보전을 위한 업무를 총괄하며 △올바른 언어 사용 환경 조성 △국어 사용 환경 개선 △직원의 국어능력 향상 등의 역할을 담당한다.

Korean language officers oversee policies related to the preservation and development of the Korean language within their institutions. Their responsibilities include creating a proper language environment, improving public language usage, and enhancing employees’ Korean language proficiency.

강원특별자치도교육청은 도교육청과 교육지원청, 직속기관에 국어책임관을 각각 1명씩 지정해 운영하고 있다.

The Gangwon State Office of Education currently appoints one Korean language officer in each regional education office and affiliated institution across the province.

이번 교육에는 강원대학교 한국어문화원의 전문강사가 참여해 △국어책임관의 역할과 운영 사례 △쉽고 바른 공공언어 쓰기 등을 중심으로 강의를 진행했다.

During the training, expert instructors from the Korean Language and Culture Institute of Kangwon National University delivered lectures on the roles and operational cases of Korean language officers, as well as effective methods for writing clear and proper public language.

#김진규 공보담당관(국어책임관)은 “국어책임관은 공공기관과 도민의 소통을 돕는 연결고리 역할을 한다”며 “이번 연수를 통해 공공언어 사용의 책임성과 전문성을 강화해 보다 쉽고 친근하게 강원교육 소식을 전달할 수 있도록 하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Through this training, we aim to strengthen responsibility and professionalism in the use of public language so that Gangwon education news can be delivered in a clearer and more approachable way.”
