물가 상승과 국제 정세 불안이 일상의 무게를 더하는 지금, 가장 먼저 흔들리는 것은 아이들의 배움이다.

강원특별자치도교육청은 취약계층 학생의 학습권만큼은 흔들리지 않도록 교육급여 인상과 디지털 교육환경 지원 확대에 나섰다.

“교육은 멈출 수 없다”는 원칙 아래, 교육격차를 막기 위한 촘촘한 복지망이 다시 한 번 강화되고 있다.

Gangwon State Office of Education Strengthens Educational Welfare for Vulnerable Students Amid Global Uncertainty

강원특별자치도교육청은 최근 중동지역 정세 불안 등 대외 환경 변화로 인한 물가 상승과 경제 여건 악화에 대응하여, 저소득층 학생의 학습권 보호를 위한 교육복지 지원을 한층 강화한다고 밝혔다.

The Gangwon State Office of Education announced that it will further strengthen educational welfare support to protect the learning rights of low-income students in response to rising prices and worsening economic conditions caused by external factors such as instability in the Middle East.

최근 국제 정세 변화로 컴퓨터 부품 가격 상승 등 교육정보화 지원 여건이 악화되고 있는 상황에서도, 도교육청은 취약계층 학생에 대한 지원 공백이 발생하지 않도록 사업 규모를 확대하고(대상학생 추가 지원), 지원 단가를 기존 130만 원에서 160만 원으로 인상하기 위한 추가 예산 확보를 추진하고 있다.

Despite worsening conditions for educational informatization support, including rising computer component prices due to global uncertainties, the Office of Education is expanding the scale of the program (adding more eligible students) and pursuing additional budget allocation to increase the support amount from 1.3 million KRW to 1.6 million KRW.

또한, 교육정보화 지원과 관련하여 협약 상품을 갱신해 최대 1Gbps급 초고속 인터넷 서비스까지 선택할 수 있도록 지원체계를 개선함으로써, 디지털 기반 교육 환경의 안정성과 접근성을 동시에 강화할 방침이다.

In addition, the Office plans to enhance both the stability and accessibility of the digital learning environment by updating contracted service packages, allowing students to access ultra-high-speed internet services of up to 1Gbps.

아울러 교육급여 및 교육비 지원은 집중 신청기간 이후에도 연중 상시 신청이 가능하며, 지원이 필요한 가정은 주민등록 주소지 관할 읍·면·동 행정복지센터를 방문하거나, 온라인(교육비 원클릭 시스템, 복지로)을 통해 언제든지 신청할 수 있다. 도교육청은 관련 내용을 지속적으로 안내해 사각지대 해소에 나설 예정이다.

Furthermore, applications for education benefits and financial support remain open year-round even after the designated application period. Families in need can apply at local administrative welfare centers based on their registered address or online through platforms such as the “One-Click Education Support System” and “Bokjiro.” The Office will continue to provide guidance to eliminate blind spots in support.

#김명복 안전복지과장은 “국제 정세로 인한 물가 상승 등 어려운 여건 속에서도 취약계층 학생의 학습권은 반드시 보장되어야 한다”며, “앞으로도 교육격차 해소를 위해 실효성 있는 교육복지 정책을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Kim Myeong-bok, Director of the Safety and Welfare Division, stated, “Even under difficult circumstances such as rising prices caused by global instability, the learning rights of vulnerable students must be guaranteed,” adding, “We will continue to expand effective educational welfare policies to reduce educational disparities.”
