Donghae City Launches ‘Child & Senior Education Specialist Training’… Expanding Women’s Reemployment Support

동해시는 여성의 재취업 기회 확대와 돌봄 분야 전문 인력 양성을 위해 ‘유아·노인 교육전문가 양성과정’을 운영한다.

Donghae City is operating a “Child & Senior Education Specialist Training Program” to expand women’s reemployment opportunities and cultivate professionals in the care sector.

동해여성새로일하기센터(센터장 금후자)는 4월부터 2026년도 직업교육훈련 과정인 「유아·노인교육전문가 양성과정」을 개강하고 본격 운영에 들어갔다고 밝혔다.

The Donghae Women’s New Work Center (Director: Geum Hu-ja) announced that it has officially launched the 2026 vocational training program, “Child & Senior Education Specialist Training,” starting in April.

해당 과정은 동해여성새로일하기센터에 구직 등록한 여성 가운데 취업 의지가 높은 참여자를 선발해 운영되며, 한국예술융합교육협회와 연계해 진행된다.

The program selects women registered as job seekers at the center who demonstrate strong motivation for employment, and is conducted in collaboration with the Korea Arts Convergence Education Association.

교육 내용은 유아 놀이수업과 실버 인지 놀이교육 등 현장 중심 실무 교육으로 구성되어 있으며, 맞춤형 취업 지원을 병행해 실질적인 취업 역량을 강화한다.

The curriculum consists of hands-on training such as play-based education for children and cognitive activity programs for seniors, combined with customized job placement support to enhance practical employment capabilities.

 이를 통해 돌봄 분야 수요 증가에 대응하는 지속 가능한 강사 일자리 창출과 여성의 경제활동 참여 확대를 도모할 계획이다.

Through this initiative, the city aims to create sustainable instructor jobs in response to the growing demand in the care sector and expand women’s participation in economic activities.

본 과정은 4월 6일 개강식을 시작으로 5월 8일까지 이론 및 실습 교육으로 운영되며, 교육 기간 중 간담회와 일자리 협력망 운영을 통해 교육 효과를 높인다.

The program runs from April 6 to May 8, combining theoretical and practical training, with meetings and employment networking activities to maximize its effectiveness.

또한 수료 이후에도 1년간 취업 정보 제공 및 취업 연계를 지속 지원할 예정이다.

Even after completion, participants will receive job information and employment linkage support for up to one year.

한편, 동해여성새로일하기센터는 지난해 3개 직업교육훈련 과정을 운영해 총 60명이 수료했으며, 이 중 24명이 취업에 성공하는 성과를 거두었다.

Meanwhile, last year the center operated three vocational training programs, with 60 participants completing the courses and 24 successfully securing employment.

올해는 총 4개 직업교육훈련 과정이 운영될 예정이며,

유아·노인 교육전문가 양성과정: 4월 6일 ~ 5월 8일 (하반기 추가 운영 예정)

Child & Senior Education Specialist Training: April 6 – May 8 (additional session planned for the second half)

경리회계사무원 양성과정: 4월 27일 ~ 5월 15일 모집 예정

Accounting & Office Clerk Training: Recruitment scheduled from April 27 to May 15

AI 활용 마케팅 전문가 양성과정: 하반기 운영 예정

AI-based Marketing Specialist Training: Scheduled for the second half of the year

동해시는 이번 교육을 통해 여성 맞춤형 일자리 창출과 지역 돌봄 서비스의 질적 향상을 동시에 이끌어낼 것으로 기대하고 있다.

Donghae City expects this initiative to simultaneously create tailored job opportunities for women and improve the quality of local care services.
