철저한 해빙기 안전점검으로 새 학기 준비

강원특별자치도교육청은 새 학기를 맞아 지난 2월 13일부터 3월 13일까지 도내 전체 교육기관과 학교를 대상으로 해빙기 안전점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

The Gangwon State Office of Education announced that it conducted spring thaw safety inspections across all educational institutions and schools in the province from February 13 to March 13, in preparation for the new school semester.

이번 점검에서는 도내 5,427개소의 교육시설을 대상으로 안전 상태를 점검했으며, 이 가운데 기숙사와 합숙소 등 228개소의 특정시설은 재해취약시설로 지정하여 민관합동점검을 실시했다. 이를 통해 점검의 전문성과 정확성을 높였다.

A total of 5,427 educational facilities across the province were inspected. Among them, 228 facilities, including dormitories and lodging facilities, were designated as disaster-vulnerable sites and underwent joint inspections by public and private experts, ensuring greater professionalism and accuracy.

특히 3월 13일 강원생명과학고 기숙사에 대한 민관합동점검에는 도교육청과 춘천교육지원청 관계자가 직접 현장을 방문해 점검 과정에 참여하며 책임 있는 점검과 후속 조치를 강조했다.

In particular, during the joint inspection of the dormitory at Gangwon Life Science High School on March 13, officials from the provincial education office and the Chuncheon Office of Education visited the site to oversee the inspection process and reinforce accountability and follow-up measures.

“새 학기를 맞아 학생들이 안전한 환경에서 생활할 수 있도록 안전관리에 만전을 기하겠다”라며

“실효성 있는 안전점검뿐만 아니라 점검 결과에 대한 후속 조치와 지속적인 관리에도 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

Son Do-heon, Director of the Facilities Division, stated,

“We will do our utmost to ensure that students can study and live in a safe environment as the new semester begins.”

He added, “We will not only conduct effective safety inspections but also make every effort to implement follow-up measures and continuous management based on the inspection results.”
