강원특별자치도교육청, 2026학년도 ‘학교 교육과정 함께 디자인하기’ 운영

강원특별자치도교육청은 2026학년도 새 학년 준비를 위해 오는 2월, 도내 유·초·중·고·특수학교를 대상으로 ‘더 나은 학교 교육과정 함께 디자인하기’ 프로그램을 운영한다.

The 강원특별자치도교육청 will operate the “Co-Designing Better School Curricula” program in February to support preparation for the 2026 academic year across kindergartens, elementary, middle, high, and special schools in the province.

이번 프로그램은 학교가 교육과정 설계의 주체가 되고, 교육지원청과 연수기관이 이를 지원하는 현장 협력 체계를 구축해 교육과정의 자율성과 실행력을 높이기 위해 기획되었다.

The program was designed to enhance autonomy and practical implementation of school curricula by establishing a field-based cooperative system in which schools take the lead in curriculum design, supported by local education support offices and training institutions.

학교는 자체적으로 2~4주간 ‘학교 및 교사 수준 교육과정 디자인하기’ 기간을 운영하며, 교직원이 함께 교육 철학과 목표, 연간 교육계획 등을 논의하고 편성한다.

Each school will independently operate a two- to four-week period for “School- and Teacher-Level Curriculum Design,” during which faculty members collaboratively discuss and establish educational philosophy, goals, and annual instructional plans.

교육지원청은 2월 23일부터 25일까지 ‘집중 연수 기간’을 운영해 새 학년 준비를 지원하고, 연수기관은 교(원)장, 교(원)감, 보직교사를 대상으로 한 교육과정 역량 강화 연수를 실시한다.

Local education support offices will run an intensive training period from February 23 to 25 to support preparation for the new school year, while training institutions will provide capacity-building programs for principals, vice principals, and lead teachers.

학교 현장에서는 연간 수업일수와 학사일정 검토, 학년·교과별 교육과정 및 평가 계획 수립, 담임 및 업무 배정 등을 교직원 협의를 통해 자율적으로 추진한다.

At the school level, faculty members will autonomously review annual instructional days and academic calendars, establish grade- and subject-level curricula and assessment plans, and determine homeroom and administrative assignments through collaborative discussion.

이를 통해 교원 간 충분한 소통과 역할 분담이 이루어지고, 학교 공동체의 일체감과 책임감이 한층 강화될 것으로 기대된다.

This process is expected to foster meaningful communication and role-sharing among teachers, strengthening unity and shared responsibility within school communities.

Seo Jong-cheol, Director of the Policy Planning Division, stated, “Through the ‘Co-Designing School Curricula’ initiative, all school members will collectively reflect on the direction of education and prepare for the new school year within a culture of autonomy and collaboration,” adding, “We will continue to realize Gangwon education that places each student’s growth at its core.”
