2025 Science-Focused High School Student Research Achievement Sharing Conference Held
“과학 탐구의 열정, 미래 과학 인재의 길을 열다”

강원특별자치도교육청은 12월 26일(금), 영월 탑스텐리조트 동강시스타에서 도내 과학중점학교 학생과 교원 등 250여 명이 참석한 가운데 「2025 과학중점학교 학생연구활동 성과나눔발표회」를 개최했다.

On December 26 (Fri), the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education held the 2025 Science-Focused High School Student Research Achievement Sharing Conference at Donggang Cista, Tops10 Resort in Yeongwol, with approximately 250 students and teachers from science-focused high schools across the province in attendance.

이번 행사는 원주고, 원주여고, 강릉고, 춘천고 등 4개 과학중점학교 학생들이 1년간 수행한 연구활동 성과를 공유하고, 과학에 대한 탐구정신과 학문적 태도를 함양하기 위해 마련됐다.

The event was designed to share the outcomes of year-long student research projects conducted by four science-focused high schools—Wonju High School, Wonju Girls’ High School, Gangneung High School, and Chuncheon High School—and to foster students’ scientific inquiry skills and academic attitudes.

행사는 △학생연구활동 포스터 공유 및 질의응답 △분과별(물리, 화학, 생명과학, 지구환경, 수리정보) 연구활동 토론 △과학자 특별강연 등으로 구성되었다.

The program included student research poster presentations with Q&A sessions, subject-based discussions (Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Earth & Environmental Science, and Mathematical Information), and a special lecture by a scientist.

특히 장홍제 광운대학교 교수의 「나노화학과 첨단기술」을 주제로 한 특별강연은 첨단과학 분야에서 화학의 역할과 미래 가능성을 조망하는 뜻깊은 시간으로, 학생과 교사들의 높은 관심과 공감을 이끌어냈다.

In particular, the special lecture titled “Nanochemistry and Advanced Technologies” by Professor Jang Hong-je of Kwangwoon University provided valuable insights into the future role of chemistry in cutting-edge science and technology, drawing strong interest and engagement from both students and teachers.

#박성관 미래교육과장은 “이번 성과나눔발표회는 학생들의 순수한 과학적 호기심을 바탕으로, 학생이 주도적으로 수행한 연구 결과를 함께 나누는 매우 의미 있는 자리였다”며,

“분과별 토론과 포스터 발표를 통해 자신의 생각을 논리적으로 표현하고, 타인의 아이디어에 공감하며, 미래 과학자로서의 태도와 역량을 키우는 소중한 경험이 되었기를 바란다”고 말했다.

Park Seong-gwan, Director of the Future Education Division, stated,

“This conference was a highly meaningful opportunity for students to share research outcomes driven by their genuine curiosity about science. Through subject-based discussions and poster presentations, I hope students were able to develop logical communication skills, appreciate diverse ideas, and cultivate the mindset and competencies required of future scientists.”
