‘강원학사생’에서 ‘강원후원자’로 첫 월급에 담은 고마움, 윤재영 숙우의 선택

서울에서의 대학 생활,

낯선 도시 한가운데서도 마음 놓고 돌아갈 수 있던 공간이 있었다.

강원학사였다.

윤재영 숙우(25)는 그곳에서 대학 시절을 보냈고,

이제는 그 기억을 다시 후배들에게 건넨다.

Recently graduating from Gangwon Haksa,

25-year-old alumnus Jae-young Yoon has made a meaningful donation of 2 million KRW to the Gangwon Talent Institute to support future students.

“고마움을, 다음 세대에게”

윤재영 숙우는 2018년 강원학사에 입사해

재사생 자치회장을 맡았고,

이후 숭실대학교 총학생회장으로 활동하며

책임과 연대의 의미를 배워왔다.

After joining Gangwon Haksa in 2018,

Yoon served as the dormitory residents’ representative

and later as the President of the Student Council at Soongsil University,

learning leadership, responsibility, and community along the way.

2025년 2월 학사를 졸업한 그는

글로벌 핀테크 기업 비바리퍼블리카(Toss)에 입사하며

사회에 첫발을 내디뎠다.

In February 2025, he graduated from the dormitory

and began his professional career at the global fintech company Viva Republica (Toss).

“첫 월급으로 시작한 약속”

윤재영 숙우는 말한다.

“강원학사는 제 대학 시절의 든든한 울타리였고,

선후배들을 만난 정말 고마운 공간이었습니다.

사회생활을 시작하며 받은 첫 월급부터

조금씩 모아온 마음을 후배들에게 전하고 싶었습니다.”

Yoon shared:

“Gangwon Haksa was my safe haven during college —

a place where I met invaluable seniors and juniors.

I wanted to pass on that gratitude to the next generation,

using a portion of what I saved from my very first paycheck.”

그는 이어

“숙우회 선배님들의 발자취를 따라

지역과 함께 성장하는 강원인재가 되고 싶다”고 덧붙였다.

He added,

“I hope to follow in the footsteps of our alumni

and grow into a Gangwon talent who gives back to the community.”

최연소 기부자, 그리고 새로운 시작

#김학철 강원인재원장은

이번 기부의 의미를 이렇게 설명한다.

“윤재영 숙우는 명예의 전당에 이름을 올린 최연소 기부자이자,

사회에 첫발을 내딛은 사회초년생입니다.

지난 3월 조윤영 숙우의 기부를 시작으로

청년 숙우들의 후원이 이어지고 있다는 점에서

더욱 뜻깊습니다.”

Kim Hak-cheol, Director of the Gangwon Talent Institute, said:

“This donation is especially meaningful as it comes from

our youngest honoree and a young professional just beginning his career.

Since the donation made in March by another alumnus,

we have seen a growing wave of giving among young graduates.”

그는

“이러한 보은의 마음이

강원학사의 다음 100년을 이끌 성장 동력이 되길 바란다”고 전했다.

He expressed hope that

“this spirit of gratitude will become the driving force

for the next century of Gangwon Haksa.”

강원에서 왔고, 강원으로 돌아간다

강원학사는

서울에서 유학 중인 강원도 출신 대학생들을 위해

관악구와 도봉구, 두 곳에서 운영되는 향토 기숙사다.

Gangwon Haksa operates two dormitories in Gwanak-gu and Dobong-gu,

providing stable housing for university students from Gangwon Province studying in Seoul.

2026학년도 신입 사생 선발은

2026년 1월에 진행될 예정이다.

Applications for the 2026 academic year

will open in January 2026.
