고향을 향한 마음은 거리를 넘는다

강원특별자치도는 11월 19일부터 21일까지 울산전시컨벤션센터에서 열린 「2025 대한민국 지방시대 엑스포」와 「제3회 고향사랑기부 박람회」에 참여해, 도정 정책을 알리고 고향사랑기부 캠페인을 펼쳤다.

From November 19 to 21, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province participated in the “2025 Local Era Expo” and the “3rd Hometown Love Donation Fair” in Ulsan, promoting provincial policies and engaging citizens through a hometown donation campaign.

전시관에는 ▲5극3특 성장엔진 산업 ▲미래산업 글로벌도시 조성 등 강원의 미래 비전을 담은 콘텐츠가 채워졌고, 관람객들은 따뜻한 관심을 보였다.

The exhibition booth highlighted Gangwon’s future vision, including its ‘5 Poles–3 Special Growth Engines’ and plans for building global-scale future-industry cities, drawing enthusiastic attention from visitors.

현장에서는 강원생활도민증 모바일 발급과 관람객 참여 이벤트도 진행되어 많은 호응을 얻었다. 또한 고향사랑기부 박람회에서는 모금 활동과 답례품 전시·시식이 이어지며 강원의 매력을 직접 경험할 수 있는 시간이 마련됐다.

Mobile issuance of the Gangwon Resident ID and visitor engagement events added vibrancy to the venue. At the donation fair, fundraising activities and exhibitions of local return gifts offered visitors a warm, firsthand experience of Gangwon’s charm.

울산에서 건너온 1,000만 원의 마음

10 Million KRW Carried by Heart, Not Distance

행사 첫날, ) 회원 30여 명이 직접 박람회장을 찾아 강원생활도민증을 발급받고, 고향사랑기부금 1,000만 원을 여중협 행정부지사에게 전달했다.

On the opening day, more than 30 members of the Ulsan Gangwon Provincial Residents’ Association, led by Chairman Shim Young-nae from Donghae, visited the expo in person, received their Gangwon Resident IDs, and presented a 10 million KRW hometown donation to Vice Governor Yeo Joong-hyeop.

#심영내 회장은 “몸은 멀리 있어도 마음은 늘 고향에 머문다”며 “이번 기부가 강원도의 발전에 작은 힘이 되길 바란다”고 전했다.

Chairman Shim expressed, “Although we live far away, our hearts remain close to our hometown. I hope this donation contributes, even in a small way, to Gangwon’s future.”

#여중협 행정부지사는 “보내주신 따뜻한 마음에 깊이 감사드린다”며 “고향사랑기부가 지역경제 활성화에 실질적인 힘이 되도록 더욱 노력하겠다”고 화답했다.

Vice Governor Yeo responded, “We sincerely appreciate this warm-hearted donation. Gangwon will continue working to ensure that hometown contributions meaningfully support our regional economy.”

고향은, 누군가의 마음을 통해 계속 자란다

울산에서 건네진 1,000만 원은 단순한 금액을 넘어, 강원도에 대한 변함없는 애정과 연대의 상징이 되었다. 멀리서도 마음으로 고향을 잇는 이들의 발걸음은, 강원이 앞으로 나아갈 힘이 된다.

The 10 million KRW donation from Ulsan is more than a monetary gesture—it is a symbol of enduring affection and solidarity. The steps of those who support their hometown from afar become the quiet strength that moves Gangwon forward.
