춘천, ACL 홈경기 도시 축제로 준비 완료

춘천시가 강원FC 아시아챔피언스리그(ACL) 홈경기를 앞두고 도시 전체를 축제의 장으로 꾸미고 있다.

송암스포츠타운 경기장은 LED 조명과 천연잔디 관리, 선수대기실 리모델링으로 새 단장을 마쳤고, 경기 당일에는 버스 증차와 임시 주차장 운영으로 관람객 이동이 한결 편리해진다.

시는 또한 관람객이 경기뿐 아니라 춘천의 매력을 함께 느낄 수 있도록 다양한 관광 프로그램과 혜택을 마련했다. 주요 관광지 할인권과 ‘춘천 투어패스’를 통해 외부 관중과 해외 원정단이 도시 곳곳을 즐길 수 있도록 돕는다.

오는 9월 16일 상하이 선화를 시작으로 빗셀 고베, FC 마치다, 상하이 포트 등 아시아 강호들이 순차적으로 춘천을 찾는다.

춘천시 관계자는 “ACL 홈경기는 단순한 스포츠 이벤트를 넘어 춘천의 도시 브랜드를 높이는 기회”라며 “시민과 방문객이 함께 즐기는 관광형 스포츠 축제로 만들어가겠다”고 전했다.

Chuncheon Set to Host ACL Home Games as a Citywide Festival

Chuncheon City is transforming itself into a festival hub ahead of Gangwon FC’s AFC Champions League (ACL) home matches.

Songam Sports Town has been upgraded with new LED lighting, carefully maintained natural turf, and a renovated players’ lounge. On match days, additional buses and temporary parking areas will make travel more convenient for fans.

Beyond the stadium, visitors can also experience the charm of Chuncheon. The city is offering special discount passes for major tourist attractions and promoting the “Chuncheon Tour Pass,” encouraging both domestic and international fans to explore the region.

Starting with the clash against Shanghai Shenhua on September 16, Chuncheon will welcome Asia’s football powerhouses including Vissel Kobe, Machida Zelvia, and Shanghai Port.

A city official said, “The ACL home games are more than just sports events — they are a chance to showcase Chuncheon’s brand as a vibrant destination. We aim to create a tourism-driven sports festival that both citizens and visitors can enjoy together.”
