춘천시, 콜롬비아 메데진시 KOICA 글로벌 연수단 맞이

춘천시(시장 육동한)는 18일 잭슨나인스 호텔에서 콜롬비아 메데진시 KOICA 글로벌 연수단 입교식을 개최하며, 디지털 행정과 스마트시티를 중심으로 한 국제협력의 실행 단계를 본격화했다.

이번 연수에는 메데진시 공무원 15명이 참여해 2주간 춘천과 서울·경기 지역을 방문, 디지털 행정시스템과 통합관제센터, ICT 기업, 스마트 정류장 및 스마트팜 등 다양한 현장을 견학한다.

이번 사업은 춘천시가 2022년 KOICA 글로벌 연수 프로그램에 선정된 이후 이어지고 있는 2차년도 사업으로, 지난 6월 메데진 현지 실사 결과가 반영되었다. 양 도시는 이번 연수를 계기로 행정 혁신 경험을 공유하는 것을 넘어 청년, 교육, 문화까지 협력 범위를 넓혀 지속가능한 국제협력 모델을 구축할 계획이다.

Chuncheon Welcomes KOICA Global Training Delegation from Medellín, Colombia

Advancing International Cooperation in Digital Governance and Smart Cities, Expanding to Youth and Culture

On August 18, Chuncheon City (Mayor Yuk Dong-han) hosted the opening ceremony for the KOICA Global Training Program with Medellín at the Jackson9s Hotel, accelerating international cooperation in digital governance and smart city development.

The delegation, composed of 15 Medellín city officials, will take part in a two-week program across Chuncheon, Seoul, and Gyeonggi Province, including visits to the city’s digital administration system, integrated control center, ICT companies, smart bus stops, and smart farms.

This initiative is part of the second-year KOICA Global Training Program, first selected in 2022, and reflects the outcomes of an on-site needs assessment conducted in Medellín last June. Both cities aim to expand cooperation beyond governance innovation to include youth engagement, education, and cultural exchanges, building a sustainable model of international partnership.
