동해시, 13개국 주한 외교단 초청‘1박 2일’ 문화 탐방 및 글로벌 교류 추진

동해시가 글로벌 교류 활성화와 도시 브랜드 가치 제고를 위해 오는 10월 10일부터 11일까지 1박 2일간 전 세계 13개국 주한 외교단과 가족을 초청해 문화 탐방 및 교류 프로그램을 운영한다.

Donghae City will host diplomats accredited to Korea and their families from 13 countries for a two-day cultural tour and exchange program on October 10–11. The visit aims to strengthen international exchanges and enhance the city’s brand value.

이번 방문에는 쿠바, 튀니지, 탄자니아 대사 등 13개국에서 29명의 주한 외교 사절과 가족이 참가한다.

A total of 29 diplomats and family members from 13 countries will participate, including the ambassadors of Cuba, Tunisia, and Tanzania.

행사 첫날인 10일에는 삼화사에서 이정학 동해시장과 임법 주지스님이 참석하는 환영 오찬을 시작으로, 자막·순차 통역 및 영문 리플렛 지원과 함께 삼화사와 무릉별유천지 탐방이 진행된다. 이튿날인 11일에는 묵호 권역의 대표 해양 명소인 도째비골 해랑전망대를 찾아 동해시의 우수한 해양 경관과 관광 인프라를 경험할 예정이다.

On October 10, the program will begin with a welcome luncheon at Samhwasa Temple, attended by Donghae Mayor Lee Jeong-hak and the temple’s head monk, Imbeop. Participants will then tour Samhwasa Temple and Mureung Byeolyucheonji, with subtitles, consecutive interpretation, and English-language leaflets provided. On October 11, they will visit Dojjaebigol Haerang Observatory, a prominent coastal attraction in the Mukho area, to experience Donghae’s scenic coastline and tourism facilities.

동해시는 이번 외교단 방문을 계기로 전통문화와 해양 관광 자원을 널리 알리고, 글로벌 무대에서 대외 우호 네트워크를 탄탄히 다져간다는 방침이다.

Through this visit, Donghae City aims to promote its traditional culture and coastal tourism resources while strengthening international ties and networks of friendship.
