강원특별자치도원주교육지원청 제29대 황재연 교육장 취임

강원특별자치도원주교육지원청은 1일(화) 3층 대회의실에서 전 직원이 참석한 가운데 제29대 황재연 교육장 취임식을 개최했다.

The Gangwon State Wonju Office of Education held an inauguration ceremony for its 29th Superintendent, Hwang Jae-yeon, on Tuesday, September 1. The ceremony took place in the conference room on the third floor, with all staff members in attendance.

황재연 교육장은 명륜초등학교, 대성중학교, 진광고등학교와 한국교원대학교 역사교육과를 졸업하고 강원대학교에서 역사교육학 석사학위를 받았다. 태백 상장중학교에서 교직에 첫발을 내디딘 후 태백 황지중학교, 태백 함태중학교, 원주 학성중학교, 영월 연당중학교에서 교사로 재직했다.

 Superintendent Hwang graduated from Myeongnyun Elementary School, Daeseong Middle School and Jingwang High School before completing a degree in history education at Korea National University of Education. He later earned a master’s degree in history education from Kangwon National University. He began his teaching career at Sangjang Middle School in Taebaek and subsequently taught at Hwangji Middle School and Hamtae Middle School in Taebaek, Hakseong Middle School in Wonju and Yeondang Middle School in Yeongwol.

교육전문직원으로는 도교육청 학교혁신과, 평창교육지원청, 원주교육지원청에서 장학사로 근무했으며, 원주 평원중학교 교감, 평창교육지원청 교육과장, 평창 계촌중학교 교장을 역임했다.

 As an education specialist, Hwang served as an education supervisor in the School Innovation Division of the Gangwon State Office of Education as well as at the Pyeongchang and Wonju offices of education. He later served as vice principal of Pyeongwon Middle School in Wonju, Director of the Education Division at the Pyeongchang Office of Education and principal of Gyechon Middle School in Pyeongchang.

#황재연 교육장은 취임식에서 △학교를 지원하는 기관으로서 학교 현장의 어려움을 먼저 살피는 적극적인 지원행정 △기존의 관례와 익숙함에서 벗어나 현장의 목소리에 귀 기울이는 창의적이고 유연한 행정 △부서·직렬 간 소통과 공유를 통한 학습공동체 문화 조성 △직원들이 실패를 두려워하지 않고 소신껏 적극행정을 펼칠 수 있는 업무 환경 조성을 강조했다.

 In his inaugural address, Superintendent Hwang emphasized four priorities: proactive administrative support that identifies and addresses challenges faced by schools; creative and flexible administration that moves beyond established practices and listens closely to voices from the field; the creation of a professional learning-community culture through communication and knowledge-sharing across departments and occupational groups; and a working environment in which employees can pursue proactive administration with confidence and without fear of failure.
