안심학교 연계 강화…동해시, 어린이 알레르기질환 예방관리 촘촘히

2025년 예방관리사업 우수기관 선정…올해 교육인원 149명, 오는 10월 인형극 개최 예정

동해시가 아토피·천식 안심학교를 중심으로 예방교육, 체험 프로그램, 환아 지원을 연계한 아동 건강관리 체계를 한층 강화하고 있다.

Donghae City is strengthening its child health management system by linking preventive education, hands-on programs, and support for children with allergic conditions through its Atopy and Asthma Safe Schools.

시는 그동안 어린이집과 유치원, 초·중·고등학교 등 교육기관과 연계해 아토피·천식 안심학교를 운영하고 예방교육과 인형극, 체험 프로그램, 아토피피부염 환아 보습제 지원 등 연령과 대상에 맞춘 예방관리사업을 지속적으로 추진해 왔다.

The city has operated Atopy and Asthma Safe Schools in cooperation with childcare centers, kindergartens, elementary, middle, and high schools. It has also continued age-appropriate prevention programs, including health education, puppet shows, hands-on activities, and moisturizer support for children with atopic dermatitis.

이러한 노력으로 지난해에는 관내 38개 교육기관이 아토피·천식 안심학교에 참여했으며, 강원특별자치도 아토피·천식 예방관리사업 성과대회에서 동해시보건소가 ‘우수 보건소’, 부영어린이집이 ‘우수 안심어린이집’, 북평초등학교가 그림 공모전 우수상을 각각 수상하는 성과를 거뒀다.

As a result of these efforts, 38 educational institutions participated in the program last year. At the Gangwon State Atopy and Asthma Prevention and Management Program Awards, the Donghae City Public Health Center was recognized as an “Outstanding Public Health Center,” Buyoung Childcare Center as an “Outstanding Safe Childcare Center,” and Bukpyeong Elementary School received an excellence award in the drawing contest.

동해시보건소는 안심학교 지정 대상을 2023년 25개소에서 2024년 32개소, 2025년 38개소에 이어 올해 41개소로 확대했다. 현재까지 아동 149명을 대상으로 예방교육을 실시했으며, 지난 6월에는 저소득층 아토피피부염 환아에게 보습제와 교육자료를 지원했다. 여름방학 기간에는 아동 눈높이에 맞춘 체험형 교육도 진행했다.

The Donghae City Public Health Center has steadily expanded the Safe School program from 25 institutions in 2023 to 32 in 2024, 38 in 2025, and 41 in 2026. So far this year, preventive education has been provided to 149 children. In June, moisturizers and educational materials were also provided to children with atopic dermatitis from low-income households, while customized hands-on programs were offered during the summer vacation period.

특히 지난 8월 6일부터 7일까지 무릉건강숲에서 6~7세 아동 59명이 참여한 ‘2026년 아토피·천식 예방교육 캠프’를 운영했다. 강원특별자치도 아토피·천식교육정보센터와 연계해 질환 예방교육, 건강 자연식 체험, 천연 보습 비누 만들기 등을 진행해 참가자들로부터 높은 만족도를 얻었다.

In particular, the city held the “2026 Atopy and Asthma Prevention Education Camp” at Mureung Health Forest from August 6 to 7, with 59 children aged six to seven participating. In cooperation with the Gangwon State Atopy and Asthma Education and Information Center, the camp offered disease-prevention education, healthy natural-food experiences, and natural moisturizing soap-making activities, receiving high satisfaction from participants.

오는 10월에는 어린이들이 보다 쉽고 재미있게 알레르기질환 예방과 관리 방법을 배울 수 있도록 눈높이에 맞춘 예방 인형극을 개최할 예정이다. 시는 앞으로도 안심학교와 긴밀히 연계해 아동과 학부모가 가정과 일상생활 속에서 올바른 예방관리 방법을 꾸준히 실천할 수 있도록 지원을 이어갈 방침이다.

In October, the city plans to stage an educational puppet show designed to help children learn about the prevention and management of allergic diseases in an easy and engaging way. Donghae City will continue working closely with Safe Schools to help children and parents practice effective prevention and management methods at home and in their daily lives.

한편, 동해시는 지난해 38개 교육기관과 함께 안심학교를 운영해 강원특별자치도 성과대회에서 ‘우수 보건소’ 표창을 받는 등 알레르기질환 예방관리 분야에서 꾸준한 성과를 이어가고 있다.

Meanwhile, Donghae City continues to make steady progress in allergy prevention and management. Its operation of Safe Schools in partnership with 38 educational institutions last year contributed to the Donghae City Public Health Center being honored as an “Outstanding Public Health Center” at the Gangwon State program awards.
