동해시, 연탄사용 취약계층에 57만 원 상당 연탄쿠폰 지원

동해시는 연탄을 사용하는 에너지 취약계층의 겨울철 난방비 부담을 덜기 위해 2026년 연탄쿠폰 지원사업 신청을 오는 8월 12일까지 관내 10개 동 행정복지센터에서 접수한다고 밝혔다.

Donghae City announced that applications for its 2026 Briquette Voucher Support Program will be accepted through August 12 at the administrative welfare centers in all 10 neighborhoods, helping energy-vulnerable households that rely on coal briquettes reduce winter heating costs.

지원 대상은 연탄을 주 난방연료로 사용하는 기초생활수급자, 차상위계층, 노인, 장애인, 한부모가족 등 에너지 취약계층이다. 다만, 에너지바우처 또는 연탄전환 에너지바우처를 이미 지원받았거나 받을 예정인 경우에는 중복 신청이 불가능하다.

Eligible applicants include low-income households, near-poverty families, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and single-parent families that primarily use coal briquettes for heating. However, households already receiving, or scheduled to receive, an Energy Voucher or a Briquette Conversion Energy Voucher are not eligible for duplicate assistance.

신청 대상은 한국에너지재단의 최종 심사를 거쳐 9월 중 확정되며, 선정된 가구에는 가구당 57만 원 상당의 연탄쿠폰이 지급된다.

Following a final review by the Korea Energy Foundation, eligible households will be confirmed in September. Each selected household will receive briquette vouchers worth KRW 570,000.

연탄쿠폰은 2026년 10월 1일부터 2027년 4월 30일까지 사용할 수 있으며, 사업 추진 일정에 따라 사용 시작일이 일부 조정될 수 있다. 변경 사항은 각 지자체를 통해 문자메시지 등으로 별도 안내될 예정이다.

The vouchers may be used from October 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027. The starting date may be adjusted depending on the implementation schedule, and any changes will be announced by local governments via text messages or other official notifications.

신청을 희망하는 시민은 신분증과 관련 서류를 지참해 주소지 관할 동 행정복지센터를 방문하면 된다.

Applicants should visit the administrative welfare center in their neighborhood with a valid ID and the required supporting documents.
