장벽 없는 공공서비스의 시작,동해시, 주요 공공시설에 배리어프리 키오스크 도입

동해시시설관리공단은 장애인과 고령자 등 디지털 취약계층도 누구나 쉽고 편리하게 공공시설을 이용할 수 있도록 주요 공공시설에 배리어프리(Barrier-Free) 키오스크를 설치하고 본격 운영에 들어갔다.

Donghae City Facilities Management Corporation has introduced **Barrier-Free kiosks** at major public facilities, making it easier for everyone—including people with disabilities and older adults—to access public services independently and comfortably.

이번에 설치된 키오스크는 「장애인차별금지 및 권리구제 등에 관한 법률」과 「디지털포용법」의 취지에 맞춰 접근성과 사용 편의성을 높인 무인 안내·결제 시스템이다.

The new kiosks are designed in line with Korea's accessibility and digital inclusion policies, providing an easy-to-use self-service system that is accessible to all users.

공단은 동해무릉파크골프장 1대, 해오름스포츠센터 2대, 동해시종합버스터미널 3대 등 시민 이용이 많은 시설에 총 6대를 설치했다.

A total of **six kiosks** have been installed at high-traffic public facilities:

1** at Donghae Mureung Park Golf Course

2** at Haeoreum Sports Center

3** at Donghae Intercity Bus Terminal

새로운 키오스크는 휠체어 이용자를 위한 접근 가능한 높이와 공간을 확보했으며, 큰 글씨와 고대비 화면, 직관적인 메뉴 구성, 음성 안내 기능 등을 제공해 누구나 쉽게 이용할 수 있도록 설계됐다.

Each kiosk features **wheelchair-friendly access**, **large text**, **high-contrast displays**, **simple and intuitive menus**, and **voice guidance**, ensuring a convenient experience for users of all ages and abilities.

이번 사업은 디지털 기기 사용이 익숙하지 않은 시민들의 불편을 줄이고, 공공서비스 접근성을 높여 누구도 소외되지 않는 포용적인 도시를 만들어가는 의미 있는 발걸음으로 평가된다.
