올여름 휴가는 축제 가득한 삼척으로!

여름이 시작되는 7월, 삼척시는 본격적인 휴가철을 맞아 영남권 관광객들의 마음을 사로잡기 위한 특별한 여행 초대장을 준비했습니다. 대한민국 대표 철도 관문인 동대구역에서 '삼척 관광홍보 팝업 행사'를 열고, 시원한 바다와 다채로운 축제가 기다리는 삼척의 매력을 직접 소개합니다.

As summer begins, the city of Samcheok is extending a special invitation to travelers from the Yeongnam region. At Dongdaegu Station—one of Korea's busiest railway hubs—the city is hosting a tourism pop-up event, introducing visitors to Samcheok's refreshing coastline and vibrant summer festivals.

이번 행사는 단순히 관광 정보를 전달하는 홍보 부스가 아닙니다. 여행객들이 직접 참여하고 즐길 수 있는 체험형 이벤트를 중심으로 구성되어, 여행을 계획하는 순간부터 즐거운 추억을 선물합니다.

Rather than being a conventional information booth, the event is designed as an interactive experience. Visitors can join engaging activities, creating joyful memories even before their journey to Samcheok begins.

행사에서는 최근 3개월 이내 삼척역 승차권을 예매한 방문객을 대상으로 '삼척 여행 추억 공유 이벤트'가 진행됩니다. 또한 삼척 관광 공식 인스타그램 '삼척EU'를 팔로우하면 즉석 캡슐 뽑기 이벤트에 참여할 수 있으며, 다양한 관광 기념품과 특별한 선물을 받을 수 있습니다.

Visitors who have booked train tickets to or from Samcheok Station within the past three months can participate in the "Share Your Samcheok Memories" event. Those who follow the official tourism Instagram account, SamcheokEU, will also have the chance to play a capsule prize game and win exclusive souvenirs and special gifts.

삼척시는 이번 팝업 행사를 통해 영남권 시민들과 직접 소통하며 여름 관광도시 삼척의 매력을 널리 알릴 계획입니다. 특히 오는 7월 24일부터 시작되는 '삼척 비치썸 페스티벌'은 시원한 바다와 공연, 다양한 체험 프로그램이 어우러진 대표 여름축제로 많은 기대를 모으고 있습니다.

Through this pop-up event, Samcheok hopes to connect directly with travelers from the Yeongnam region and showcase its appeal as a premier summer destination. Beginning July 24, the Samcheok Beach Summer Festival (Beach썸 Festival) will offer live performances, seaside experiences, and festive entertainment for visitors of all ages.
