동해지방해양수산청, 여름 휴가철 대비 해수욕장 순회 해양안전 캠페인 실시

Donghae Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries Launches Coastal Marine Safety Campaign for Summer Vacation Season

동해지방해양수산청(청장 박정인)은 여름 휴가철을 맞아 국민들의 해양안전 의식을 높이기 위해 7월 10일부터 14일까지 강원권역 주요 해수욕장 6개소(경포, 속초, 삼척, 망상, 아야진, 송지호)에서 대국민 해양안전 캠페인을 실시한다.

The Donghae Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries, headed by Commissioner Park Jeong-in, will conduct a nationwide marine safety campaign from July 10 to July 14 at six major beaches in Gangwon Province—Gyeongpo, Sokcho, Samcheok, Mangsang, Ayajin, and Songjiho—to promote marine safety awareness during the summer vacation season.

이번 캠페인은 강원지역 해양안전실천본부 참여기관인 한국해양교통안전공단, 해양환경공단, 강원특별자치도 글로벌본부, 수협중앙회 어선안전조업국, 해양경찰서 및 각 지방자치단체와 함께 추진된다.

The campaign is jointly organized with participating organizations of the Gangwon Marine Safety Practice Headquarters, including the Korea Maritime Transportation Safety Authority (KOMSA), Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation (KOEM), the Gangwon State Global Headquarters, the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives, the Korea Coast Guard, and local governments.

주요 활동으로는 △현수막·포스터·피켓을 활용한 해양안전 홍보 △해수욕장 안전수칙 안내 및 물놀이 안전용품 배부 △청렴문화 확산을 위한 반부패·청렴 캠페인 등이 진행된다.

Key activities include marine safety promotion through banners, posters, and placards, guidance on beach safety rules, distribution of water safety items, and an anti-corruption and integrity campaign to promote a transparent public service culture.

또한 해양안전실천 중앙본부가 추진하는 '구명조끼 海주세요' 캠페인(7월 1일~8월 31일)과 연계해 '해랑이 타투스티커 인증 이벤트'도 함께 운영하며, 참여자에게는 추첨을 통해 다양한 경품이 제공될 예정이다.

The campaign will also be linked to the nationwide "Please Wear a Life Jacket" initiative running from July 1 to August 31. Visitors can participate in the "Haerangi Tattoo Sticker 인증 Event", where participants will have a chance to win prizes through a lucky draw.

동해지방해양수산청은 이번 캠페인을 통해 국민들의 해양안전 의식을 높이고, 여름철 해양사고 예방과 안전문화 정착에 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

The Donghae Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries expects this campaign to strengthen public awareness of marine safety while contributing to the prevention of marine accidents and fostering a stronger culture of safety during the busy summer season.

동해지방해양수산청 관계자는 "국민 모두가 안전하고 즐거운 여름을 보낼 수 있도록 지속적인 해양안전 홍보와 사고 예방 활동에 최선을 다하겠다."고 말했다.

An official from the Donghae Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries said, "We will continue our efforts to promote marine safety and prevent accidents so that everyone can enjoy a safe and pleasant summer by the sea."
