삼척시, 청소년 스포츠멘토링 진로캠프 운영

삼척시는 지난 7월 7일부터 10일까지 강원대학교 삼척캠퍼스 일원에서 관내 중·고등학생 140명을 대상으로 「2026 삼척시 청소년 스포츠멘토링 진로캠프」를 운영한다.

Samcheok City is operating the "2026 Youth Sports Mentoring Career Camp" from July 7 to 10 at Kangwon National University Samcheok Campus, with the participation of 140 middle and high school students from across the city.

이번 캠프는 문화체육관광부의 「지역 자율형 생활체육활동 지원사업」과 연계해 (사)코리아쓰리엑스쓰리에서 주관하는 시민참여형 생활체육 프로그램으로, 스포츠 활동과 진로교육을 연계한 체험형 프로그램을 통해 청소년의 건강한 성장과 자기주도적 진로역량을 높이기 위해 마련됐다.

The camp is part of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Community-Based Sports Activity Support Program and is organized by the Korea 3x3 Association. It combines sports activities with career education through hands-on experiences, helping young people develop healthy lifestyles while strengthening their self-directed career planning skills.

캠프는 7월 7일, 9일, 10일 총 3회에 걸쳐 집합형 1일 진로캠프로 운영되며, 참가 학생들은 진로 탐색 전문가 특강, 수도권 대학(원)생 멘토와의 소통, 3대3 농구 기본기 강습 및 팀별 활동, 국민체력100 연계 기초 체력 측정·분석 및 상담 등에 참여한다.

Held as three one-day intensive camps on July 7, 9, and 10, the program offers career exploration lectures, mentoring sessions with university and graduate students from the Seoul metropolitan area, 3-on-3 basketball fundamentals and team activities, as well as physical fitness assessments, analysis, and consultations in partnership with the National Fitness 100 Program.

특히 이번 캠프는 강원대학교 삼척캠퍼스의 교육·체육시설을 활용해 지역 대학과 연계한 교육 협력체계 속에서 운영되며, 청소년들에게 대학 캠퍼스를 직접 체험하고 다양한 진로를 접할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.

A distinctive feature of the camp is its collaboration with Kangwon National University. By utilizing the university's educational and sports facilities, participants experience campus life firsthand while exploring a wide range of academic and career opportunities in a real university environment.

삼척시 관계자는 “스포츠와 진로교육을 접목한 이번 캠프가 청소년들이 자신의 적성과 가능성을 발견하고 미래를 설계하는 뜻깊은 계기가 되었기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 대학, 전문기관과의 긴밀한 협력체계를 바탕으로 다양한 진로체험 프로그램을 통해 청소년들이 건강하게 성장하며 스스로 미래를 설계할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

A Samcheok City official said, "We hope this sports and career mentoring camp helps young people discover their talents and potential while inspiring them to design their future with confidence. We will continue to work closely with local communities, universities, and professional organizations to provide diverse career experience programs that support the healthy growth and future aspirations of our youth."
