동해시, AI·드론 미래기술 체험 ‘Youth RISE 차세대 혁신 캠프’ 참가자 모집

Donghae City Opens Registration for ‘Youth RISE Next-Generation Innovation Camp’ Featuring AI and Drone Technology

동해시는 오는 8월 4일부터 동해시청소년센터와 동해시 일원에서 지역 청소년을 대상으로 「Youth RISE 차세대 혁신 캠프」를 운영하며, 7월 4일부터 참가자 65명을 선착순 모집한다고 밝혔다.

Donghae City announced that it will host the Youth RISE Next-Generation Innovation Camp beginning August 4 at the Donghae Youth Center and various locations across the city. Registration for 65 participants will open on July 4 on a first-come, first-served basis.

이번 캠프는 동해시 교육발전특구 사업의 일환으로 한림대학교 RISE사업본부와 협력해 마련됐다. 대학의 전문 교육 인프라와 강사진이 참여해 청소년들이 인공지능(AI), 드론, 3D 프린팅 등 미래 핵심기술을 직접 체험하고 실습할 수 있도록 구성한 것이 특징이다.

The camp is part of Donghae City's Education Innovation Special Zone initiative and is organized in partnership with Hallym University's RISE Headquarters. Participants will gain hands-on experience with future technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), drones, and 3D printing under the guidance of university experts.

프로그램은 ▲드론 스포츠 ▲드론 AI 미디어 ▲AI 기초교육 ▲스펙업 AI ▲3D 프린터 등 5개 과정으로 운영된다. 참가 청소년들은 드론 조립과 레이싱, AI 활용 콘텐츠 제작, 생성형 AI 활용, 포트폴리오 제작, 3D 모델링 등 다양한 프로젝트를 수행하며 결과물을 직접 만들어 보는 실습 중심 교육에 참여하게 된다.

The camp offers five specialized programs: Drone Sports, Drone AI Media, AI Fundamentals, AI for Career Development, and 3D Printing. Students will assemble and race drones, produce AI-powered digital content, explore generative AI, build personal portfolios, and create 3D models through project-based learning.

특히 캠프 마지막 날에는 드론 스포츠 대회, 영상 상영회, AI 포트폴리오 발표회 및 작품 전시회를 개최하여 부모들이 자녀의 성장과 결과물을 직접 눈으로 확인할 수 있는 자리를 마련한다.

On the final day, the camp will feature a Drone Sports Tournament, AI Media Screening, AI Portfolio Presentation, and Project Exhibition, allowing parents to celebrate their children's achievements and creative work.

모집 대상은 동해시에 거주하거나 관내 학교에 재학 중인 14세부터 19세까지의 청소년이며, 프로그램별 모집 인원과 참가 연령은 일부 다르다. 참가 신청은 7월 4일 오전 10시부터 동해시청소년시설 홈페이지를 통해 선착순으로 접수한다. 참가비는 프로그램별로 1만 원에서 3만 원 수준이다.

Eligible applicants are youth aged 14 to 19 who either reside in Donghae or attend local schools. Age requirements and class sizes vary by program. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. on July 4 through the Donghae Youth Facilities website. Participation fees range from KRW 10,000 to KRW 30,000 depending on the course.

#천수정 체육교육과장은 "이번 캠프는 지역 대학과 협력해 청소년들이 미래 핵심기술을 쉽고 재미있게 배우며 진로를 탐색할 수 있도록 마련한 프로그램"이라며 "방학 기간 의미 있는 경험을 쌓을 수 있도록 많은 청소년과 학부모들의 관심과 참여를 바란다"고 말했다.

드론 스포츠 (14세 이상 / 15명)

FPV 드론의 비행 원리를 배우고 조립부터 레이싱, 드론 축구 경기까지 체험한다.

Drone Sports (Age 14+, 15 participants)

Learn FPV drone technology, assemble drones, compete in racing events, and experience drone soccer.

드론 AI 미디어 (15세 이상 / 10명)

무릉별유천지와 도째비골 등 동해시 명소를 항공 촬영하고 AI 영상 편집 도구를 활용해 콘텐츠를 제작한다.

Drone AI Media (Age 15+, 10 participants)

Capture aerial footage of Donghae's scenic attractions, including Mureung Byeolyucheonji and Doddaebi Valley, and produce AI-assisted video content.

AI 기초교육 (14~19세 / 15명)

이미지·음악 생성, AI 비서 활용, PPT 자동 생성 등 생성형 AI의 기초와 윤리를 배운다.
