강원특별자치도, 외국인 정착 우수사례 공모

강원특별자치도는 외국인 주민과 지역사회가 함께 만들어 온 우수한 정착 사례를 발굴·공유하기 위해 「2026년 강원 외국인 정착 우수사례 공모전」을 개최하고, 오는 7월 17일까지 참가작을 접수한다.

Gangwon State is hosting the "2026 Best Foreign Resident Settlement Story Contest" to discover and share inspiring stories of successful settlement created together by foreign residents and local communities. Entries will be accepted until July 17.

이번 공모전은 외국인 주민과 지역사회가 함께 만들어 온 다양한 정착 사례를 발굴·공유하고, 우수 사례를 확산해 지역사회의 외국인 수용성을 높이기 위해 마련됐다.

The contest aims to identify and promote diverse settlement stories that reflect cooperation between foreign residents and local communities, while encouraging greater understanding and acceptance of multicultural communities throughout the region.

공모 대상은 도내 외국인 주민과 도민, 외국인 주민을 고용한 기업 대표 및 임직원 등이며, 외국인 근로자, 결혼이민자, 유학생, 외국국적동포, 다문화가족 등 다양한 계층이 참여할 수 있다.

Eligible participants include foreign residents living in Gangwon, Korean residents, business owners and employees who employ foreign nationals, as well as foreign workers, marriage migrants, international students, overseas Koreans with foreign nationality, and multicultural families.

공모 분야는 ▲외국인 근로자 고용을 통한 기업의 성장과 변화 ▲내·외국인이 함께 만드는 직장문화 조성 ▲외국인의 자기계발 및 지역 정착 성공 ▲한국인 동료 및 사업주와의 감동적인 이야기 등 지역사회에 귀감이 되는 다양한 정착 사례다.

Submission categories include:

Business growth and innovation through the employment of foreign workers

Creating an inclusive workplace where Korean and foreign employees thrive together

Personal growth and successful settlement of foreign residents

Heartwarming stories shared with Korean colleagues or employers

Other outstanding settlement experiences that inspire local communities

참가를 희망하는 경우 7월 17일까지 참가신청서와 우수사례 작성 서류를 전자우편(in2131@korea.kr), 우편 또는 방문을 통해 제출하면 된다. 자세한 사항은 강원특별자치도 및 시군 누리집 공고문에서 확인할 수 있다.

Applicants should submit the application form and settlement story by July 17 via email (in2131@korea.kr), postal mail, or in person. Detailed information is available on the official websites of Gangwon State and local city or county governments.

접수된 작품은 적합성, 우수성, 확산 가능성, 공감성 등을 종합적으로 평가해 우수작을 선정할 계획이다. 선정된 우수 사례에는 강원특별자치도지사 표창을 수여하고, 외국인 정책 지원사업 문화프로그램 참여, 우수사례 홍보 등의 혜택을 제공할 예정이다.

Submitted entries will be evaluated based on relevance, excellence, potential for wider application, and public resonance. Outstanding stories will receive a Governor's Commendation from Gangwon State, opportunities to participate in cultural programs related to foreign resident support policies, and promotional recognition through various media channels.

Jeon Hee-seon, Director of Regional Revitalization Policy at Gangwon State, said, "We hope this contest will provide an opportunity to share and spread meaningful settlement stories created together by foreign residents and local communities. We encourage active participation from residents, foreign nationals, and businesses across Gangwon."
