더 아름다워진 나릿골 감성마을

삼척시가 나릿골 감성마을의 경관을 새롭게 단장하여 방문객들에게 한층 더 쾌적하고 아름다운 볼거리를 제공한다.

Samcheok City is giving Naritgol Emotional Village a fresh new look, creating a more comfortable and visually captivating destination for visitors.

삼척시는 정하동 일원의 ‘바람의 화원’과 ‘마을향기원’을 대상으로 ‘2026년 나릿골 감성마을 경관 개선사업’을 추진한다.

As part of the 2026 Naritgol Emotional Village Landscape Enhancement Project, Samcheok City is revitalizing two signature spaces in Jeongha-dong: the Garden of Wind and the Village Fragrance Garden.

나릿골 감성마을은 지난 2022년부터 2024년까지 추진된 명품화사업을 통해 지역의 주요 관광 명소로 자리매김해 왔다. 이번 개선사업은 기존 시설의 노후화된 부분을 정비하고, 계절감을 느낄 수 있는 초화류를 보강 식재하여 마을의 정취를 더욱 깊게 만들기 위해 기획되었다.

Following its transformation into a celebrated tourism destination through a premium development project carried out between 2022 and 2024, Naritgol Emotional Village continues its evolution. This latest enhancement focuses on renewing aging facilities and enriching the village atmosphere with seasonal flowering plants, allowing visitors to experience the changing beauty of nature throughout the year.

‘바람의 화원’에는 보행 안전을 위해 목재 계단을 새로 설치하고 노후화된 야자매트를 교체하며, 자연석 쌓기 등을 통해 보행로를 정비한다. 또한, 바람에 흔들리는 모습이 아름다운 꼬리조팝나무와 가우라, 왜성해바라기 등을 대대적으로 식재하여 화사한 꽃밭을 조성할 계획이다.

In the Garden of Wind, new wooden stairways will be installed to improve pedestrian safety, while worn pathways and mats will be replaced and strengthened with natural stone landscaping. Elegant flowering plants—including spiraea, gaura, and dwarf sunflowers—will be planted extensively, creating vibrant gardens that sway gracefully in the coastal breeze.

‘마을향기원’은 고사목을 정비하고 홍가시 및 영산홍, 피라칸사스 등을 보완 식재하여 입구부터 화사한 분위기를 연출하고, 왜성해바라기를 심어 꽃이 가득한 정원을 완성할 예정이다.

The Village Fragrance Garden will also undergo a floral makeover. Dead trees will be removed, while photinia, azaleas, and pyracantha shrubs will be added to create a welcoming entrance filled with color and vitality. Dwarf sunflowers will further enhance the landscape, transforming the garden into a cheerful sea of blossoms.

총사업비 1억 원이 투입되는 이번 사업은 지난 5월 착공하여 6월 말 준공을 목표로 순조롭게 진행되고 있다. 준공 이후에도 9월까지 제초 작업 등을 통해 사후 관리에 만전을 기할 방침이다.

With a total investment of KRW 100 million, the project began in May and is progressing smoothly toward completion by the end of June. Continued maintenance, including weed control and landscape management through September, will ensure the gardens remain in excellent condition throughout the season.

시 관계자는 “이번 경관 개선사업을 통해 나릿골 감성마을을 찾는 시민과 관광객들이 한층 더 편안하고 즐거운 시간을 보내길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지속적인 관리를 통해 누구나 다시 찾고 싶은 명품 관광지로 가꾸어 나가겠다”고 말했다.

A city official expressed hope that the renewed landscape will offer residents and travelers an even more relaxing and memorable experience. The city remains committed to continuous care and improvement, ensuring that Naritgol Emotional Village grows into a destination that visitors will long to return to time and again.
