세대 잇는 효 문화 한마당… 제13회 북삼동 효행제 개최

북삼동주민자치위원회(위원장 박대현)는 오는 6월 20일부터 21일까지 이틀간 북삼동행정복지센터 야외무대와 효행길 일원에서 관내 사회단체와 함께 「제13회 효행제」를 개최한다.

The Buksam-dong Residents’ Autonomy Committee will host the 13th Hyohaeng Festival from June 20 to 21 at the outdoor stage of the Buksam-dong Administrative Welfare Center and along the historic Hyohaeng Trail. In partnership with local civic organizations, the festival offers a graceful celebration of respect, gratitude, and community spirit, echoing the timeless values cherished across generations.

올해로 13회를 맞는 효행제는 어르신에 대한 경로효친 사상을 되새기고, 북삼동에 남아 있는 효자각․열녀각 등 지역의 역사․문화를 널리 알리기 위해 마련된 주민 화합 축제다.

Now in its thirteenth year, the festival serves as a heartfelt tribute to the virtue of filial devotion. It also shines a light on Buksam-dong’s cultural heritage, including historic memorials honoring filial sons and virtuous women. More than a festival, it is a gathering where history, memory, and community meet in harmonious celebration.

행사 첫날에는 장수어르신과 주민 100여명이 함께하는 효행제 퍼레이드를 시작으로 개막식, 공경례, 효행상 시상, 경로잔치, 어르신 한마당, 동민 노래자랑 등이 진행된다. 또한 가훈 써주기, 보태니컬아트 체험, 풍선아트, 팝콘 무료나눔 등 다양한 부대행사도 마련된다.

The opening day begins with a vibrant parade featuring centenarian elders and local residents, followed by an opening ceremony, a formal gesture of respect to seniors, awards honoring exemplary acts of filial piety, a community banquet, traditional entertainment, and a neighborhood singing festival. Visitors may also enjoy family motto calligraphy, botanical art workshops, balloon art, and complimentary refreshments, creating a warm atmosphere reminiscent of a charming village fête in the French countryside.

특히 지역 최고령 어르신을 모시고 감사와 존경의 마음을 전하는 공경례와 효행상 시상을 통해 효의 가치를 되새기고 세대 간 공감과 소통의 시간을 갖는다.

One of the festival’s most moving moments will be the ceremonial tribute to the community’s oldest resident. Through gestures of gratitude and the presentation of filial piety awards, participants are invited to reflect on the enduring beauty of respect and affection between generations, strengthening bonds that transcend age and time.

둘째 날에는 효를 실천한 선조들의 발자취를 따라 걷는 효행길 걷기대회(스탬프 투어)를 비롯해 버블쇼와 각종 체험행사가 진행되며, 주민들이 함께 참여하고 어우러지는 화합의 장이 펼쳐질 예정이다.

On the second day, residents and visitors will walk the Hyohaeng Trail, following the footsteps of ancestors remembered for their devotion and virtue. A stamp-tour challenge, bubble performances, and hands-on activities will transform the area into a joyful promenade where families, neighbors, and visitors gather in celebration of shared values and community harmony.

#박대현 북삼동주민자치위원장은 “효행제를 통해 충효예지의 고장인 북삼동을 널리 알리고, 우리 사회에 효 문화가 더욱 확산되는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Chairman Park Dae-hyun expressed his hope that the festival will further promote Buksam-dong’s proud heritage of loyalty, filial devotion, courtesy, and wisdom, while inspiring a renewed appreciation for filial culture throughout modern society.

Buksam-dong Director Shim Jin-sook noted that she hopes the Hyohaeng Festival will continue to grow as the district’s signature cultural event—one that bridges generations, strengthens neighborhood ties, and celebrates the enduring values of kindness, respect, and human connection.
