동해시, 영농정착·유기질비료 지원사업 본격 추진

강원특별자치도 동해시가 청년농업인의 안정적인 정착과 친환경 농업 활성화를 위해 다양한 농업 지원사업을 추진한다.

시는 오는 6월 1일부터 7월 10일까지 ‘청년농업인 영농정착지원사업’ 추가 신청과 ‘2027년 유기질비료 지원사업’ 신청 접수를 진행한다고 밝혔다.

청년농업인 영농정착지원사업은 농업을 시작한 청년들의 초기 부담을 덜어주기 위한 제도다. 신청 대상은 만 18세 이상 39세 이하이면서 독립경영 3년 이하의 청년농업인이다.

선정된 청년농업인에게는 최장 3년 동안 월 최대 110만 원의 영농정착지원금이 지급된다. 또한 농지·시설 구입 융자 지원은 물론 교육, 컨설팅, 정책사업 연계 등 다양한 혜택도 함께 제공된다. 현재 동해시에서는 3명의 청년농업인이 지원을 받고 있다.

신청은 농업e지 홈페이지를 통해 온라인으로 가능하며, 서류와 면접 평가를 거쳐 오는 8월 최종 대상자가 선정될 예정이다.

이와 함께 진행되는 ‘2027년 유기질비료 지원사업’은 친환경 농업 기반 확대를 위한 사업이다. 신청 대상은 농업경영체에 등록된 동해시 소재 농지를 경작하는 농업인이다.

온라인 신청은 6월 1일부터 10일까지 농업e지를 통해 가능하며, 이후에는 방문 신청 방식으로 접수한다. 지원 기준은 1,000㎡당 45포다.

“Supporting Young Farmers and Eco-Friendly Agriculture”

Donghae City Expands Agricultural Support Programs

Donghae is strengthening support for young farmers and eco-friendly agriculture through expanded agricultural assistance programs.

The city announced that applications for the “Young Farmer Settlement Support Program” and the “2027 Organic Fertilizer Support Program” will be accepted from June 1 to July 10.

The Young Farmer Settlement Support Program is designed to ease the financial burden on young people starting careers in farming. Eligible applicants are young farmers aged 18 to 39 who have independently operated a farm for less than three years.

Selected participants can receive up to 1.1 million KRW per month for a maximum of three years. Additional benefits include loans for farmland and facility purchases, education programs, consulting services, and connections to other government agricultural policies. Currently, three young farmers in Donghae are receiving support through the program.

Applications must be submitted online through the “Agriculture e-Z” platform, with final recipients to be selected in August after document screening and interviews.

At the same time, the city will also accept applications for the 2027 Organic Fertilizer Support Program aimed at expanding eco-friendly farming practices.

Eligible applicants include farmers cultivating farmland in Donghae and registered under the national agricultural management system. Online applications are available from June 1 to June 10 through Agriculture e-Z, after which in-person applications will be accepted.

The subsidy standard is set at 45 fertilizer bags per 1,000 square meters of farmland.
