동해시가 정보취약계층의 디지털 접근성 향상을 위한 ‘중고 PC 지원사업’ 신청 접수를 시작했다.

이번 사업은 공공기관에서 사용하던 중고 PC를 정비해 정보취약계층과 사회복지시설에 무상으로 보급하는 사업이다. 올해 보급 물량은 총 17대로, 기초생활수급자, 차상위계층, 한부모가족, 장애인 등이 지원 대상이다.

신청 기간은 오는 6월 5일까지이며, 신청자는 주소지 관할 동 행정복지센터를 방문해 접수하면 된다. 시는 중복 수혜 여부와 적격성 심사를 거쳐 6월 말 최종 대상자를 확정할 예정이다.

동해시는 지난해에도 개인 13명과 단체 3개소에 총 16대의 중고 PC를 보급했으며, 지속적인 디지털 복지 확대를 통해 정보격차 해소에 힘쓰고 있다.

Donghae has begun accepting applications for its refurbished PC support program aimed at improving digital access for vulnerable groups.

Under the program, used computers from public institutions are refurbished and distributed free of charge to disadvantaged residents and welfare organizations. A total of 17 PCs will be provided this year.

Eligible applicants include basic livelihood security recipients, near-poverty households, single-parent families, persons with disabilities, and social welfare facilities.

Applications will be accepted through June 5 at local administrative welfare centers. The city plans to finalize recipients by the end of June after reviewing eligibility and duplicate benefit status.

Last year, the city distributed 16 refurbished PCs to 13 individuals and 3 organizations, continuing efforts to narrow the digital gap and improve access to information technology.

Donghaeは、情報弱者層のデジタル環境改善を目的とした「中古PC支援事業」の申請受付を開始した。

この事業では、公的機関で使用されていた中古PCを整備し、情報弱者層や社会福祉施設へ無償提供する。今年の支給台数は計17台となっている。

支援対象は、生活保護受給者、低所得世帯、ひとり親家庭、障がい者、社会福祉施設などである。

申請は6月5日まで受け付けており、住所地を管轄する行政福祉センターで直接申し込む必要がある。市は重複受給の有無や適格性を審査した上で、6月末に最終対象者を決定する予定だ。

昨年は個人13人と団体3か所に計16台の中古PCを提供しており、継続的なデジタル福祉の拡充を通じて情報格差の解消に取り組んでいる。
