동해시학교밖청소년지원센터가 2026년 제1회 검정고시에서 우수한 합격 성과를 거두며 지난해에 이어 2년 연속 만점 합격자를 배출해 눈길을 끌고 있다.

The Donghae City Youth Support Center for Out-of-School Youth has drawn attention after producing another perfect-score student in the 2026 first GED examination, marking the second consecutive year of such an achievement.

지난 4월 4일 시행된 이번 검정고시에는 센터 소속 청소년 18명이 응시해 전체합격 14명, 과목합격 3명의 성과를 거뒀다. 특히 결시자 1명을 제외하면 응시자 전원이 합격했으며, 이 가운데 1명은 전 과목 만점을 받아 2025년에 이어 2년 연속 만점 합격자를 배출하는 성과를 이뤘다.

 In the GED examination held on April 4, 18 youths affiliated with the center took the test, resulting in 14 full passes and 3 partial passes. Excluding one absentee, all examinees passed. Notably, one student achieved a perfect score in all subjects, making it the second consecutive year since 2025 that the center has produced a perfect-score student.

센터는 검정고시를 준비하는 청소년들을 위해 교재 및 온라인 강의 지원, 모의고사 지원, 원서접수 지원, 시험 당일 차량 이동 지원, 식·간식 및 필기구 제공 등 맞춤형 학습 지원을 지속적으로 제공하고 있다.

 The center has continuously provided customized educational support for youths preparing for the GED examination, including textbooks and online lectures, mock exams, application assistance, transportation on exam day, meals and snacks, and writing supplies.

#천수정 체육교육과장은 “학교 밖 청소년들이 자신의 속도로 배움과 도전을 이어가며 값진 결실을 만들어 가고 있다”며 “청소년들의 가능성과 성장을 응원하며 지속적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

 Cheon Su-jeong, Director of the Sports and Education Division, said, “Out-of-school youths are continuing their learning and challenges at their own pace and achieving meaningful results,” adding, “We will continue to support and encourage their growth and potential.”
