강원도립대학교, 어린이날 ‘컵케이크 만들기 체험’ 큰 호응

강원도립대학교 Receives Warm Response for Children’s Day Cupcake Experience Program

강원도립대학교가 어린이날을 맞아 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있는 특별한 체험 프로그램을 운영하며 지역사회와 따뜻한 소통의 시간을 만들었다.

강원도립대학교는 지난 5월 5일 강릉종합운동장 잔디광장에서 열린 제104회 강릉 어린이날 큰잔치에 참여해 ‘컵케이크 만들기 체험’ 부스를 운영했다고 밝혔다.

Gangwon State University created a meaningful moment of connection with the local community by operating a special family-friendly experience program during Children’s Day celebrations.

The university participated in the 104th Gangneung Children’s Day Festival held on May 5 at the Gangneung Sports Complex lawn plaza, where it operated a “Cupcake Making Experience” booth for children and families.

“Create Your Own Story on a Cupcake”

이번 체험 프로그램은 어린이들이 직접 크림을 짜고 다양한 토핑을 올리며 자신만의 컵케이크를 완성하는 창의형 체험으로 진행됐다. 행사장에는 가족 단위 방문객들의 발길이 이어졌으며, 체험 부스는 하루 종일 웃음과 즐거움으로 가득했다.

The program allowed children to decorate cupcakes with cream and colorful toppings, encouraging creativity and self-expression. Families continuously visited the booth throughout the event, filling the space with laughter and excitement.

행사에 참여한 한 학부모는 “아이와 함께 특별한 추억을 만들 수 있어 정말 뜻깊었다”며 “놀이와 교육이 함께 어우러진 체험이라 더욱 만족스러웠다”고 말했다.

One parent who joined the event shared, “It was a very meaningful experience to make special memories with my child. The combination of fun and educational activities made it even more enjoyable.”

전공 살린 실무 경험… 지역사회 봉사까지

Practical Major-Based Experience Combined with Community Service

이번 프로그램에는 바리스타제과제빵과 학생들도 직접 참여해 현장 운영과 체험 진행을 도왔다. 학생들은 어린이들과 소통하며 전공 실무 역량과 서비스 경험을 동시에 쌓는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.

Students from the Department of Barista, Baking, and Pastry also participated in the event, helping operate the booth and guide the activities. Through direct interaction with children and families, students gained valuable hands-on experience and communication skills.

바리스타제과제빵과 #최근표 교수는 “학생들이 지역사회와 함께 호흡하며 실무 경험과 봉사 정신을 동시에 배우는 교육 프로그램”이라며 “현장 경험은 향후 취업과 창업 역량 강화에도 큰 도움이 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Professor Choi Geun-pyo from the department explained, “This program allows students to develop both practical skills and a spirit of community service. Such field experiences will become valuable assets for their future careers and entrepreneurship.”
