동해시종합사회복지관, ‘꿈지원 사업설명회’ 성황리 개최

동해시종합사회복지관(관장 서순영)은 지난 4월 28일 복지관 참여 아동과 보호자 35가정, 총 66명을 대상으로 ‘꿈지원 사업설명회’를 성황리에 개최했다.

동해시종합사회복지관 successfully held its “Dream Support Project Briefing” on April 28 for 35 families, including participating children and guardians, with a total of 66 attendees.

이번 설명회는 아동들의 건강한 성장과 안정적인 양육 환경 조성을 위해 마련됐으며, 복지관이 운영하는 주요 복지서비스와 후원 프로그램을 소개하는 자리로 진행됐다. 또한 가족 간 유대감과 소통을 높이기 위한 다양한 참여형 프로그램도 함께 운영됐다.

 The briefing was organized to support the healthy growth of children and promote a stable family environment. The event introduced the welfare services and sponsorship programs operated by the welfare center, while also providing interactive activities designed to strengthen family bonds and communication.

특히 이날 진행된 ‘DIY 접이식 테이블 제작 체험’은 아동과 보호자가 함께 협력하며 직접 생활용품을 만드는 시간으로 꾸며져 큰 호응을 얻었다. 참가자들은 서로 의견을 나누고 함께 완성품을 만들어가며 따뜻한 추억을 쌓았다.

 In particular, the “DIY Folding Table Workshop” received enthusiastic responses from participants. Children and parents worked together to create practical household items, sharing ideas and building meaningful memories throughout the activity.

이날 행사는 운영법인인 북평제일감리교회 최재황 운영위원의 기도로 시작됐으며, 이어 사업 설명과 프로그램 안내, 가족 체험활동 순으로 진행됐다.

 The event began with a prayer led by Choi Jae-hwang, an operating committee member of 북평제일감리교회, the organization operating the welfare center. It was followed by project presentations, program introductions, and family participation activities.

#서순영 관장은 “아이들의 꿈은 지역사회의 관심과 사랑 속에서 더욱 크게 자란다”며 “앞으로도 지속적인 후원 연계와 다양한 체험·교육 프로그램을 통해 아이들과 가족들이 희망을 키워갈 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Director Seo Soon-young stated, “Children’s dreams grow bigger through the care and support of the local community,” adding, “We will continue to provide ongoing sponsorship connections and diverse educational and experiential programs so that children and their families can nurture hope for the future.”
