“Strengthening Cooperation among School Steering Committees and Promoting Educational Autonomy”

강릉교육지원청(교육장 김기현)은 4월 30일 오전 10시 30분, 강릉교육지원청 별관 3층 대회의실에서 ‘2026년도 강릉시 학교운영위원장 협의회’를 개최했다.

The Gangneung Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Gi-hyun) held the “2026 Gangneung School Steering Committee Chairs Council” on April 30 at 10:30 AM in the conference hall on the 3rd floor of the annex building.

이번 협의회는 관내 유·초·중·고·특수학교 운영위원장들이 참석한 가운데 학교 간 협력체계를 강화하고, 학교 운영의 자율성과 책무성을 높이기 위한 방향을 공유하기 위해 마련되었다.

The council brought together chairs of school steering committees from kindergartens, elementary, middle, high, and special schools to strengthen inter-school cooperation and share directions for enhancing autonomy and accountability in school management.

회원들은 다양한 현안에 대해 의견을 나누며 상호 이해를 높이는 시간을 가졌다.

Participants exchanged views on various issues, fostering mutual understanding.

회의에서는 협의회를 이끌어갈 임원 선출이 주요 안건으로 다뤄졌으며, 회장 1명, 부회장 5명, 사무국장 1명 등 총 7명의 임원진이 선출되었다.

A key agenda item was the election of executive members to lead the council, resulting in the selection of seven officials: one chairperson, five vice chairpersons, and one secretary general.

강릉교육지원청은 향후에도 학교운영위원장 협의회를 중심으로 학부모, 교직원, 지역사회가 함께 참여하는 협력적 교육환경 조성을 지속적으로 추진할 계획이다.

The Gangneung Office of Education plans to continue fostering a collaborative educational environment centered on the council, involving parents, educators, and the local community.

#김기현 교육장은 “이번 협의회를 통해 학교운영위원회 간 유기적인 협력체계가 한층 강화되었으며, 지역 특성을 반영한 교육자치 실현에 의미 있는 계기가 되었다”고 말했다.

Superintendent Kim Gi-hyun stated, “This council has further strengthened organic cooperation among school steering committees and served as a meaningful opportunity to realize educational autonomy that reflects regional characteristics.”
