“위기청소년 놓치지 않는다”…동해시·동해경찰서·이동쉼터, 거리로 나선 이유

Donghae City Conducts Youth Protection Outreach with Police and Mobile Shelter

동해시는 4월 28일(화), 북삼동 행정복지센터 일원에서 동해경찰서, 강원특별자치도 이동형 쉼터와 함께 지역 청소년 보호와 위기 예방을 위한 연합 활동인 ‘도란도란 아웃리치’를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

Donghae City announced that on Tuesday, April 28, it carried out a joint outreach activity titled “Doran Doran Outreach” in the area around the Buksam-dong Administrative Welfare Center, in collaboration with the Donghae Police Station and the Gangwon State Mobile Shelter, aimed at protecting local youth and preventing crisis situations.

이번 아웃리치는 가정 밖 청소년과 위기 상황 청소년을 조기에 발견하고 필요한 지원을 연계하기 위해 마련됐으며, 청소년전화 1388 홍보와 청소년안전망 협력 체계 강화를 목적으로 추진됐다.

 This outreach was organized to identify at-risk youth and out-of-home youth at an early stage and connect them with necessary support, while also promoting the Youth Hotline 1388 and strengthening the youth safety network cooperation system.

이날 현장에서는 ▲청소년 대상 거리 상담 ▲긴급 보호 및 연계 정보 제공 ▲홍보물 배부 등 다양한 활동이 진행됐다.

 On-site activities included ▲street counseling for youth ▲provision of emergency protection and referral information ▲distribution of promotional materials, among others.

시는 이번 연합 활동을 통해 유관기관 간 협력 체계를 더욱 강화하고, 위기 청소년에 대한 현장 중심 대응 능력을 높이는 계기가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

 The city expects that this joint activity will further strengthen cooperation among related organizations and enhance field-centered response capabilities for at-risk youth.

또한 지역사회와 함께 청소년을 보호하는 환경을 조성하고, 위기 상황 발생 시 신속한 보호와 지원이 이뤄질 수 있도록 지속적인 연합 활동을 이어갈 계획이다.

In addition, the city plans to continue such joint efforts to create a community-based protective environment for youth and ensure rapid protection and support in times of crisis.

#천수정 체육교육과장은 “위기 청소년 발견 시 신속한 보호와 지원이 이뤄질 수 있도록 청소년안전망 협력체계를 강화하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 연합 활동을 통해 촘촘한 청소년 보호 환경 조성에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

 Cheon Soo-jung, Head of the Sports and Education Division, stated, “We are strengthening the youth safety network cooperation system to ensure prompt protection and support when at-risk youth are identified,” adding, “We will continue to make efforts to build a more comprehensive youth protection environment through various joint activities.”
