원주 자립준비청년 맞춤형 지원 업무협약 체결

Wonju Signs Tailored Support Agreement for Youth Transitioning to Independence

원주 지역 내 자립준비청년(보호종료청년)의 안정적인 사회 정착과 취업 역량 강화를 위한 관계기관 간 다자간 업무 협약이 28일 체결됐다.

A multilateral 업무협약 was signed on the 28th among related organizations to support the stable social settlement and enhance employment capabilities of youth transitioning out of care in Wonju.

이번 협약은 ‘커리어 브릿지(Career Bridge)’라는 명칭으로, 청년도전지원사업 수행기관인 사회적협동조합 희망리본, 강원특별자치도자립지원전담기관, 초록우산 등 3개 기관이 상호 협력해 추진한다.

The agreement, titled “Career Bridge,” will be jointly implemented by three organizations: the social cooperative Hope Ribbon, the Gangwon Special Self-Government Province Independence Support Agency, and ChildFund Korea.

자립준비청년이 보호 종료 이후 겪을 수 있는 구직 포기나 사회적 은둔을 예방하고, 심리 회복과 자신감 향상을 통해 당당한 사회 구성원으로 성장할 수 있도록 기관별 맞춤형 지원이 이뤄질 예정이다.

The initiative aims to prevent job-seeking abandonment and social isolation among youth after leaving care, while providing tailored support to help them recover psychologically, build confidence, and grow into active members of society.

협약에 따라 강원특별자치도자립지원전담기관과 초록우산은 대상자를 발굴해 사회적협동조합 희망리본으로 연계하며, 사회적협동조합 희망리본은 연계 받은 청년에게 ‘청년도전지원사업’을 통해 맞춤형 프로그램과 취·창업을 지원한다.

Under the agreement, the Independence Support Agency and ChildFund Korea will identify and refer eligible youth to Hope Ribbon, which will then provide customized programs and support for employment and entrepreneurship through the Youth Challenge Support Program.

특히 초록우산은 사업 참여를 독려하기 위해 참여 청년에게 교통비와 활동비를 지원하며, 수료 후 취업 연계 과정 진행 시 별도의 인센티브를 추가로 지급할 계획이다.

In particular, ChildFund Korea will provide transportation and activity allowances to encourage participation, and additional incentives will be offered upon completion and during employment linkage processes.

한편 청년도전지원사업은 6개월 이상 취업이나 교육·훈련 이력이 없는 18∼39세 청년들을 대상으로 밀착 상담, 자신감 회복, 진로 탐색, 역량 강화 등 체계적인 맞춤형 교육과정을 제공해 사회·경제활동 참여를 지원하는 사업이다.

Meanwhile, the Youth Challenge Support Program targets young people aged 18 to 39 who have not been employed or engaged in education or training for more than six months. It provides intensive counseling, confidence recovery, career exploration, and capacity-building programs to support their participation in social and economic activities.

참여를 희망하는 청년은 고용노동부 ‘고용24’ 홈페이지를 통해 신청할 수 있다. 자세한 사항은 사회적협동조합 희망리본 원주센터(☎033-813-8033)로 문의하면 된다.

#김경미 원주시 기업지원일자리과장은 “청년도전지원사업은 자립준비청년이 사회로 나가는 과정에서 만나는 든든한 사다리가 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 민간과의 긴밀한 협력을 통해 청년들의 도전을 적극적으로 응원하겠다”고 말했다.

Kim Kyung-mi, head of the Corporate Support and Employment Division of Wonju City, stated, “The Youth Challenge Support Program will serve as a strong stepping stone for youth transitioning into society,” adding, “We will continue to actively support young people’s challenges through close cooperation with the private sector.”
