동해시는 4월 24일, ㈜성도에스디에프(대표 김순태)와 함께 저소득층 아동의 공부환경 개선을 위한 ‘꿈터프로젝트’ 업무협약식을 개최했다.

Donghae City held a memorandum of understanding (MOU) ceremony on April 24 with Seongdo SDF Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Soon-tae) to promote the “Dream Space Project,” aimed at improving study environments for children from low-income families.

이번 협약은 지역 내 취약계층 아동들에게 보다 쾌적하고 안정적인 학습 공간을 제공하기 위해 마련되었다. ㈜성도에스디에프는 30년 이상 교육용 가구를 제조해 온 기업으로, 학교와 공공기관에 제품을 공급하며 강원도 및 동해시 유망 중소기업으로 선정된 바 있다.

This agreement was designed to provide a more comfortable and stable learning environment for children in vulnerable groups within the community. Seongdo SDF has over 30 years of experience in manufacturing educational furniture and has supplied products to schools and public institutions, earning recognition as a promising small and medium-sized enterprise in Gangwon Province and Donghae City.

협약에 따라 ㈜성도에스디에프는 오는 5월부터 연내 두 차례에 걸쳐 총 10가정을 대상으로 공부방 가구를 후원할 예정이다. 동해시 드림스타트는 지원 대상 가정 선정과 사업 운영을 맡아 추진하며, 이번 후원을 계기로 향후 지속적인 지원 확대도 검토할 방침이다.

Under the agreement, Seongdo SDF will donate study room furniture to a total of 10 households in two phases starting in May this year. Donghae City’s Dream Start program will be responsible for selecting beneficiary families and managing the project, with plans to consider expanding support in the future.

Mayor Sim Gyu-eon of Donghae City stated, “I hope this agreement will help improve children’s learning environments and support them in pursuing their dreams,” adding, “I sincerely appreciate the company’s meaningful contribution and participation in this valuable initiative.”
