강원특별자치도는 4월 24일(금), 2026년 제2차 도-시군 정책협의회를 개최하고, 권한대행 체제 속 행정 공백 방지와 공명선거 관리, 고유가 피해지원금 지급 등 주요 민생 현안을 종합 점검했다.

Gangwon State held the 2nd Provincial–Municipal Policy Council Meeting for 2026 on Friday, April 24, reviewing key livelihood issues such as preventing administrative gaps under the acting leadership system, ensuring fair election management, and providing support for damages caused by high oil prices.

이번 협의회는 여중협 권한대행 행정부지사 주재로 진행됐으며, 도 실국장과 18개 시군 부단체장이 참석해 도-시군 간 협력체계를 점검하고 주요 현안 대응 방향을 공유했다.

The meeting was chaired by Acting Governor Yeo Jung-hyup, Vice Governor for Administrative Affairs, and attended by provincial bureau directors and deputy heads from 18 cities and counties, who reviewed cooperation systems and shared response strategies for key issues.

회의에서는 △ 행정 공백 최소화 및 현안 사업 정상 추진 △ 6.3. 선거 대비 공직자 정치적 중립 확보와 공명선거 분위기 조성 △ 법정 선거사무 차질 없는 추진체계 점검 등을 집중 논의했다.

Key agenda items included minimizing administrative gaps and ensuring normal progress of ongoing projects, securing political neutrality of public officials ahead of the June 3 election, fostering a fair election environment, and reviewing systems to ensure smooth execution of statutory election duties.

아울러 도민 체감도가 높은 민생·안전 분야 대응 방안도 함께 다뤄졌다.

In addition, response measures in livelihood and safety sectors—highly relevant to residents—were also addressed.

○ 고유가 피해지원금 1차 지급 신속 추진

○ 본격 영농철 대비 농가 경영안정 대책

○ 영농자재 비상대책반 운영 협조 등

○ Spring wildfire prevention measures

○ Strengthening crowd safety management during spring festivals

○ Expedited first-phase distribution of high oil price relief funds

○ Farm management stabilization measures ahead of the busy farming season

○ Cooperation in operating emergency task forces for agricultural supplies

도는 권한대행 체제에서도 도-시군 간 긴밀한 협력을 통해 행정의 연속성과 안정성을 유지하고, 민생 현안 대응에 속도를 낼 방침이다.

The province plans to maintain administrative continuity and stability through close cooperation between the province and municipalities, even under the acting leadership system, while accelerating responses to livelihood issues.

#여중협 강원특별자치도지사 권한대행(행정부지사)은 “선거를 앞둔 권한대행 체제에서 가장 중요한 것은 행정의 연속성과 공정성 확보”라고 강조하며 “특히 고유가로 인한 도민 부담을 줄이기 위한 민생 지원이 신속하고 차질 없이 추진될 수 있도록 시군의 적극적인 협조를 바란다”고 밝혔다.

Acting Governor Yeo Jung-hyup emphasized that “the most important priorities under an acting leadership system ahead of elections are ensuring administrative continuity and fairness,” adding that “active cooperation from municipalities is essential to ensure swift and seamless implementation of livelihood support measures to ease the burden of high oil prices on residents.”

또한 “최근 산불 경계 단계 격상과 건조특보가 발효 중인 상황을 고려해 5월 연휴 대비 사전 예방활동을 강화하고, 산불 발생 시에는 초기 단계부터 진화 인력과 장비를 신속히 투입하는 등 즉각 대응이 가능하도록 도-시군 공조체계를 한층 강화해 달라”고 당부했다.

He also urged strengthened preventive measures ahead of the May holiday, considering the elevated wildfire alert level and ongoing dry weather warnings, and called for enhanced provincial–municipal coordination to ensure rapid deployment of firefighting personnel and equipment from the early stages of any wildfire incident.
