“사고는 막고, 청렴은 지킨다”… 동해해수청, 항만안전 캠페인 본격 가동

동해지방해양수산청(청장 김채균)은 4월 22일 동해·묵호항에서 항만 내 사업장의 안전의식 제고를 위한 안전문화 확산 캠페인을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

The Donghae Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries (Head: Kim Chaegyun) announced that it conducted a safety culture promotion campaign on April 22 at Donghae and Mukho Ports to enhance safety awareness among port businesses.

이번 캠페인은 항만종사자의 안전사고 예방을 목적으로 추진되었으며, 동해·묵호항 내 하역사와 입주업체, 동해항운노조, 동해항만물류협회 등 약 100여 명이 참여했다.

The campaign was carried out to prevent safety accidents among port workers, with approximately 100 participants including stevedoring companies, tenant businesses, the Donghae Port Transport Workers’ Union, and the Donghae Port Logistics Association.

주요 내용으로는 동해항 정문초소에서 참여자들이 안전구호를 제창하고 청렴의식 제고를 위한 결의를 다졌으며, 항만 출입 차량과 출입자를 대상으로 ‘항만출입 시 안전수칙’ 준수를 안내하는 유인물을 배포했다.

Key activities included participants chanting safety slogans and pledging to strengthen integrity awareness at the main gate of Donghae Port, as well as distributing leaflets on “Port Entry Safety Guidelines” to vehicles and personnel entering the port.

이를 통해 항만 업·단체 종사자의 자율적인 안전관리 실천을 유도하고, 현장 중심의 안전문화 확산을 적극 홍보했다.

Through these efforts, the campaign encouraged voluntary safety management among port-related workers and actively promoted a field-oriented safety culture.

#김채균 동해지방해양수산청장은 “연 2회 실시되는 항만안전 캠페인이 형식에 그치지 않고 실질적인 안전수칙 준수 문화로 이어질 수 있도록 하겠다”며 “항만운송 참여자의 안전의식 제고와 하역사의 청렴 실천을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Kim Chaegyun, Head of the Donghae Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries, stated, “We will ensure that the biannual port safety campaign goes beyond formality and leads to a culture of genuinely observing safety rules,” adding, “We will do our utmost to enhance safety awareness among port transport participants and promote integrity practices among stevedoring companies.”
