동해시가 중동 지역 정세 불안에 따른 국제유가 상승과 물가 변동에 대응하기 위해 ‘비상경제 TF’를 가동하고 민생 안정 대책을 본격 추진한다.

Donghae City has launched an Emergency Economic Task Force (TF) to respond to rising global oil prices and price fluctuations triggered by instability in the Middle East, initiating full-scale measures to stabilize livelihoods.

시는 이번 대응을 단순 점검이나 회의 수준이 아닌, 시민이 체감할 수 있는 즉시 실행 중심의 물가 안정 정책으로 추진한다는 방침이다.

The city emphasized that this initiative goes beyond routine inspections or meetings, focusing instead on immediate, actionable policies that citizens can tangibly feel in their daily lives.

동해시는 종량제봉투의 경우 이미 1년분 물량을 사전 확보해 둔 상태로, 최근 원자재 가격 상승에도 불구하고 가격 인상 없이 안정 공급을 유지할 계획이다.

For waste disposal bags, the city has already secured a one-year supply in advance and plans to maintain stable distribution without price increases despite rising raw material costs.

이는 국제유가 상승에 따른 플라스틱 원재료 가격 인상 요인에도 불구하고 시민 생활 부담을 최소화하기 위한 선제적 조치다.

This proactive measure aims to minimize the burden on residents despite the upward pressure on plastic raw material prices caused by higher global oil prices.

건설 분야에서는 아스콘 등 주요 자재 가격 상승에 대응해 단가 변동을 반영한 계약 관리와 수급 상황 점검을 병행한다. 이를 통해 공공사업 지연과 비용 부담을 최소화할 계획이다.

In the construction sector, the city will manage contracts reflecting price fluctuations of key materials such as asphalt and closely monitor supply conditions to prevent project delays and cost overruns.

동해시는 생필품 가격을 중점 관리 품목으로 지정해 상시 점검하고 가격 정보를 공개해 시민들의 합리적 소비를 지원한다.

The city has designated essential goods as priority items for continuous monitoring and will disclose pricing information to support rational consumer choices.

또한 주유소 가격 담합이나 불법 유통 등 시장 교란 행위에 대해서는 집중 단속을 실시해 즉각적인 행정 조치를 취할 방침이다.

In addition, strict inspections will be conducted on illegal practices such as price collusion at gas stations and illicit distribution, with immediate administrative action to follow.

수출입기업지원팀은 동해상공회의소와 협력해 기업 애로사항을 수시로 접수하고, 대체 시장 발굴 및 수출 판로 다변화 등 실질적인 지원을 추진한다.

The Export-Import Business Support Team will work with the Donghae Chamber of Commerce to collect corporate grievances and provide practical assistance, including identifying alternative markets and diversifying export channels.

동해시는 김정윤 부시장을 단장으로 ▲비상경제대응총괄 ▲수출입기업지원 ▲에너지대책 ▲민생안정 등 4개 대응반으로 구성된 TF를 운영하고 있다.

The task force, led by Vice Mayor Kim Jeong-yun, consists of four divisions: overall emergency economic response, export-import business support, energy measures, and livelihood stabilization.

오는 9일 시장 주재 대책회의를 통해 분야별 실행 과제를 점검하고, 10일에는 동해YWCA와 간담회를 열어 민관 협력 기반 대응을 강화할 예정이다.

On the 9th, the city will review action plans in a mayor-led strategy meeting, followed by a meeting with the Donghae YWCA on the 10th to strengthen public-private cooperation.

Vice Mayor Kim Jeong-yun stated, “The impact of rising global oil prices due to Middle East instability is spreading to consumer prices and construction sites. We will focus all administrative capacity on policies that ensure tangible price stability for citizens.”
