동해교육지원청, 새 학기 등굣길 학교폭력 예방 캠페인 실시… 학생·경찰·지자체 ‘공동 대응’

강원특별자치도동해교육지원청(교육장 서순원)은 새 학기를 맞아 3월 19일(목) 하랑중학교와 3월 20일(금) 동해중앙초등학교에서 동해시청 및 동해경찰서, 학생자치회 학생들과 함께 ‘2026년 학교폭력 예방을 위한 새 학기 등굣길 캠페인’을 실시하였다.

The Donghae Office of Education (Superintendent Seo Soon-won) conducted the “2026 Back-to-School Campaign for School Violence Prevention” on March 19 (Thu) at Harang Middle School and March 20 (Fri) at Donghae Jungang Elementary School, in collaboration with Donghae City Hall, Donghae Police Station, and student councils.

이번 캠페인은 학생들이 안전하고 행복한 학교생활을 시작할 수 있도록 학교폭력 예방의 중요성을 알리고, 지역사회와 함께하는 안전한 학교문화 조성을 위해 마련되었다.
This campaign was organized to raise awareness about the importance of preventing school violence and to foster a safe school culture in collaboration with the local community, ensuring students can begin the new semester in a safe and positive environment.

특히 학생자치회 학생들이 직접 캠페인에 참여함으로써 또래 간 공감과 자율적인 예방 문화 확산에 의미를 더했다.
In particular, the participation of student council members added significance by promoting peer empathy and encouraging the spread of a self-driven prevention culture among students.

동해교육지원청은 동해시청, 동해경찰서와 긴밀한 협력 체계를 구축하여 학교폭력 예방을 위한 공동 노력을 지속하고 있으며, 사안 발생 시 유관기관 간 정보 공유를 통해 학교폭력 없는 안전한 학교문화 조성에 힘쓰고 있다.
The Donghae Office of Education continues its joint efforts to prevent school violence through close cooperation with Donghae City Hall and the Donghae Police Station, and strives to build a violence-free school environment by sharing information among related agencies when incidents occur.

#서순원 교육장은 “유관기관과의 협력을 통해 폭력 없는 학교 만들기에 앞장서겠다”며 “교육지원청에서는 회복적 생활교육을 바탕으로 모든 학교가 건강하고 평화로운 학교문화를 조성할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
Superintendent Seo Soon-won stated, “We will take the lead in creating violence-free schools through cooperation with related organizations,” adding, “The Office of Education will actively support schools in building healthy and peaceful school cultures based on restorative practices.”
