동해시, 근로환경 개선 지원… 중소기업에 최대 1,500만 원 지원

Donghae City Recruiting Companies for Workplace Environment Improvement Project

동해시가 근로자의 편의시설 개선을 통해 보다 쾌적한 일터 조성을 지원하는 ‘일자리 환경개선사업’ 참여기업 모집에 나섰다.

Donghae City has begun recruiting companies for its Workplace Environment Improvement Project, aimed at creating more comfortable workplaces by improving employee convenience facilities.

이번 사업은 휴게실, 화장실, 샤워실 등 근로자 편의시설 개보수 비용을 지원해 근로환경을 개선하고 기업의 고용 경쟁력을 높이기 위해 추진된다.

The project seeks to improve working conditions and strengthen companies’ employment competitiveness by supporting renovation costs for employee facilities such as rest areas, restrooms, and shower rooms.

모집 기간은 4월 3일까지이며, 신청은 동해시청 경제과 청년지원팀을 방문해 접수하면 된다.

The application period runs until April 3, and applications must be submitted in person to the Youth Support Team of the Economic Affairs Division at Donghae City Hall.

신청 대상은 동해시에 본사, 주 사업장 또는 주 공장이 위치하고 공고일 기준 2년 이상 정상 가동 중인 중소기업이다.

Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized enterprises whose headquarters, main business site, or main factory is located in Donghae City and have been operating normally for at least two years as of the announcement date.

지원 규모는 총 2개 기업이며, 선정된 기업은 고용환경 개선공사를 진행한 뒤 결과 및 정산 보고를 통해 공사비의 80%, 최대 1,500만 원까지 지원받게 된다.

A total of two companies will be selected. After completing the workplace improvement construction and submitting a report and settlement, each company will receive 80% of the construction cost, up to 15 million won.

최종 결과는 서류심사와 현장 실태조사, 심의위원회 심사 등을 거쳐 오는 5월 중 발표될 예정이다.

The final results will be announced in May following document screening, on-site inspections, and review by a deliberation committee.

한편 동해시는 지난해 동일한 취지의 사업인 ‘행복일터 조성사업’을 통해 지역 내 4개 기업에 기업당 1,000만 원씩 총 4,000만 원을 지원한 바 있다.

Last year, Donghae City operated a similar program called the “Happy Workplace Creation Project,” providing 10 million won each to four local companies, totaling 40 million won.

당시 참여 기업을 대상으로 실시한 만족도 조사에서는 모든 사업장이 근로환경 개선 효과에 대해 긍정적으로 평가했으며, 실제 시설을 이용하는 근로자들의 만족도 또한 높은 것으로 나타났다.

A satisfaction survey conducted among participating companies showed that all businesses positively evaluated the improvement in working conditions, and employees using the upgraded facilities also reported high satisfaction.

동해시는 올해 사업을 통해 쾌적한 근로환경 조성과 함께 기업의 인력 유치 및 고용 안정에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

The city expects that this year’s project will help create a more pleasant working environment while also supporting workforce recruitment and employment stability for local companies.
