삼척 앞바다에서 잇따른 지진이 발생했지만 현재까지 피해는 없는 것으로 확인됐으며, 강원도는 재난안전상황실을 중심으로 대비 태세를 강화하고 있다.

Strengthened inspections of key facilities and real-time monitoring for aftershocks

강원특별자치도(도지사 김진태)는 3월 11일 저녁 6시 5분 삼척시 동쪽 해역에서 규모 3.1의 지진이 발생한 데 이어, 밤 10시 11분 규모 2.1의 지진이 추가로 발생했다고 밝혔다.

Gangwon State announced that a magnitude 3.1 earthquake occurred at 6:05 p.m. on March 11 in waters east of Samcheok City, followed by another magnitude 2.1 earthquake at 10:11 p.m. the same evening.

현재까지 강원도 내에서 접수된 유감 신고는 없는 것으로 확인됐으며, 시설 피해도 발생하지 않은 것으로 파악되고 있다.

As of now, no reports of tremors have been received within the province, and no damage to facilities has been identified.

김진태 강원특별자치도지사는 짧은 시간 안에 지진이 잇따라 발생함에 따라 도민이 느낄 수 있는 불안감에 선제적으로 대응하고 관련 상황을 면밀히 관리할 것을 지시했다.

Governor Kim Jin-tae ordered officials to proactively respond to potential public anxiety caused by the consecutive earthquakes and to closely manage the situation.

이에 따라 강원특별자치도는 재난안전상황실을 중심으로 대비 태세를 유지하며 상황을 면밀히 주시하고 있다.

Accordingly, the province is maintaining a state of readiness centered on the Disaster and Safety Control Center while closely monitoring the situation.

또한 주요 시설물에 대한 예찰 활동을 강화하고 추가적인 여진 발생 여부를 실시간으로 모니터링하는 등 도민 안전을 위한 관리 체계를 강화하고 있다.

The province is also strengthening inspection activities at key facilities and monitoring possible aftershocks in real time to ensure public safety.

#김진태 지사는 “도는 도민의 생명과 안전을 지키기 위해 긴장을 늦추지 않고 철저히 대비하겠다”며 “재난안전상황실을 중심으로 상황을 철저히 관리하고, 혹시 모를 상황에도 즉각 대응할 수 있도록 대비 태세를 갖춰 달라”고 당부했다.
