삼척시, 2026년 양성평등기금 공모사업 추진

삼척시가 양성평등 문화 확산과 여성친화도시 조성을 위한 시민 참여형 사업 발굴에 나선다.

삼척시는 양성평등 문화 확산과 여성친화도시 조성을 위해 「2026년 삼척시 양성평등기금 공모사업」을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

이번 공모사업은 양성의 인권 보호와 복지 증진, 여성의 사회참여 확대, 일·가정 양립을 위한 가족친화 환경 조성, 지역사회 안전 증진 등을 통해 지역사회 전반에 실질적인 양성평등 의식을 확산하고 여성친화도시 조성 기반을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.

삼척시는 이번 공모사업을 통해 총 5천만 원 규모의 사업비를 지원할 계획이며, 사업별 최대 500만 원 범위에서 지원한다.

지원 대상은 양성평등 이념 실현과 여성의 복지 및 권익 증진을 위한 사업을 추진하고자 하는 관내 비영리 법인 또는 비영리 공익단체이다.

공모 분야는

▲ 양성평등 의식 확산

▲ 여성 등 취약계층 안전 증진

▲ 여성친화도시 조성

▲ 여성의 지역사회 활동 역량 강화 등의 지정공모 분야와

▲ 여성의 능력 개발 및 인재 양성

▲ 다문화 및 가족 기능 증진

▲ 기타 양성평등 발전을 위한 사업

등의 일반공모 분야로 구분된다.

특히 시민 참여형 성평등 프로그램과 지역사회 협력 사업을 적극 발굴해 지역사회 전반에 성평등 문화 확산을 도모하고, 여성친화도시 정책과 연계한 다양한 사업이 추진될 것으로 기대된다.

사업 신청은 2026년 3월 9일부터 3월 20일까지이며, 접수된 사업은 사업계획서 검토와 삼척시 양성평등위원회 심의를 거쳐 최종 선정된다. 선정된 사업은 2026년 4월부터 12월까지 추진될 예정이다.

시 관계자는 “양성평등기금 공모사업을 통해 지역 단체와 시민이 함께 참여하는 다양한 성평등 사업을 발굴해 양성평등 문화 확산과 여성친화도시 조성에 기여할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Citizen-Participation Projects to Promote Gender Equality Culture and Women-Friendly City

Samcheok City announced that it will promote the “2026 Samcheok Gender Equality Fund Public Call Project” to expand gender equality culture and strengthen the foundation for a women-friendly city.

The program aims to spread practical awareness of gender equality across the community by protecting human rights, improving welfare, expanding women’s social participation, promoting work-family balance, and enhancing community safety.

The city plans to provide a total project budget of 50 million KRW, with up to 5 million KRW per project.

Eligible applicants include local nonprofit corporations and nonprofit public organizations that intend to implement projects promoting gender equality and improving women’s welfare and rights.

The public call is divided into designated categories, including:

Promotion of gender equality awareness

Safety improvement for women and vulnerable groups

Women-friendly city initiatives

Strengthening women’s community participation capacity

and general categories, including:

Capacity development and talent cultivation for women

Multicultural and family function enhancement

Other projects contributing to gender equality development.

The city particularly expects to discover citizen-participation gender equality programs and community collaboration projects that will help expand gender equality culture and connect with women-friendly city policies.

Applications will be accepted from March 9 to March 20, 2026. Submitted proposals will be reviewed and finalized through deliberation by the Samcheok Gender Equality Committee. Selected projects will be implemented from April to December 2026.

A city official stated, “Through the Gender Equality Fund Public Call Project, we will actively support the discovery of diverse gender equality initiatives led by local organizations and citizens, contributing to the spread of gender equality culture and the development of a women-friendly city.”
