스무 살.

처음으로 세상의 문을 두드리는 나이.

누군가는 대학 강의실에서, 누군가는 사회의 현장에서, 또 누군가는 아직 길을 찾는 여정 속에서 자신의 첫 페이지를 써 내려간다.

Twenty years old.

An age when you gently knock on the door of the world.

Some begin in lecture halls, some in workplaces, and others in the quiet journey of finding their own path.

그 첫걸음이 조금 더 단단하고, 조금 더 따뜻해지기를 바라는 마음에서

강원특별자치도는 ‘청년문화예술패스’를 다시 꺼내 들었다.

올해는 더 넓게, 더 깊게, 더 크게.

With the hope that this first step becomes firmer and warmer,

Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province brings back the Youth Culture & Arts Pass—

broader, deeper, and stronger than before.

지원금은 15만 원에서 20만 원으로 늘어났다.

사용 범위도 공연과 전시를 넘어 영화까지 확대되었고,

오는 8월부터는 도서 구입에도 사용할 수 있다.

The support amount has increased from 150,000 KRW to 200,000 KRW.

Its usage now extends beyond performances and exhibitions to include movies,

and starting in August, even book purchases.

대상도 넓어졌다.

이제 19세에서 20세까지,

2006년과 2007년에 태어난 청년들이 문화의 문을 함께 연다.

The eligibility has expanded as well.

Now both 19- and 20-year-olds—

those born in 2006 and 2007—can open the door to culture together.

발급 첫날,

강원특별자치도립무용단의 공연 ‘동행’을 찾았다.

청년들이 실제로 이 제도를 어떻게 신청하고,

어떻게 사용하는지를 직접 확인하기 위해서였다.

On the first day of issuance,

Governor Kim Jin-tae visited the performance “Companion” by the

Gangwon Provincial Dance Company.

He personally checked how young people were applying for and using the pass.

청년문화예술패스는 단순한 지원금이 아니다.

그것은 “당신의 시작을 응원한다”는 사회의 메시지다.

문화는 소비가 아니라, 성장의 자양분이기 때문이다.

The Youth Culture & Arts Pass is more than financial support.

It is society’s message saying,

“We support your beginning.”

Because culture is not mere consumption—it is nourishment for growth.

도내 2만 5,309명의 대상 청년 중

선착순 7,845명이 혜택을 받을 수 있다.

발급은 6월 30일까지 1차로 진행되며,

7월 31일까지 한 번도 사용하지 않으면 포인트는 회수된다.

Among 25,309 eligible young residents in the province,

7,845 will receive the benefit on a first-come, first-served basis.

The first issuance runs until June 30,

and unused points by July 31 will be reclaimed.

공연 한 편이 인생의 방향을 바꿀 수도 있고,

한 권의 책이 생각의 깊이를 바꿀 수도 있다.

영화 속 한 장면이

앞으로의 삶을 견디게 하는 힘이 될 수도 있다.
