동해시, 초등 3~4학년 대상 ‘세계문화 체험여행’ 운영

동해시는 오는 4월부터 관내 초등학교 3~4학년 학급을 대상으로 시립도서관 연계 프로그램 「세계문화 체험여행」을 운영해 학생들의 다문화 이해 증진에 나선다고 밝혔다.

Donghae City announced that it will operate the “World Culture Experience Tour,” a city library-linked program for 3rd and 4th grade elementary students starting in April, aimed at enhancing multicultural understanding among students.

본 프로그램은 동해시 가족센터와의 업무협약을 통해 한국어가 능통한 결혼이주민 강사가 학교를 직접 방문해 세계 여러 나라의 문화와 생활을 체험형 수업으로 소개하는 방식으로 진행된다.

The program will be conducted in cooperation with the Donghae City Family Center. Marriage immigrant instructors fluent in Korean will visit schools to provide hands-on lessons introducing cultures and daily life from various countries.

수업 내용은 국가별 지도와 국기, 인사말, 음식, 도서 등을 활용한 문화 이해 교육과 함께 전통의상 알아보기 및 입어보기 체험, 전통의상 목각인형 만들기 등 다양한 체험활동으로 구성된다.

The curriculum includes cultural education using maps, national flags, greetings, food, and books from different countries, as well as experiential activities such as trying on traditional costumes and making wooden dolls dressed in traditional attire.

운영 기간은 여름방학을 제외한 4월 10일부터 12월 11일까지 매주 금요일이며, 학교별·학급별 신청을 받아 120분간 진행된다. 신청 기간은 2월 25일부터 3월 26일까지다.

The program will run every Friday from April 10 to December 11, excluding the summer vacation period, and each session will last 120 minutes. Applications will be accepted from February 25 to March 26.

신청을 희망하는 학교는 공문 또는 도서관 홈페이지 공지에 따라 신청서를 제출하면 되며, 선정 결과는 4월 1일 시립도서관 홈페이지를 통해 확인할 수 있다. 기타 자세한 사항은 발한도서관으로 문의하면 된다.

Schools wishing to participate may submit an application form in accordance with the official notice or guidelines posted on the library website. The list of selected schools will be announced on April 1 via the municipal library website. For further information, inquiries can be directed to Balhan Library.
