동해시, 교육·청소년 정보 한눈에… 3월 전용 창구 개설

동해시는 교육발전특구 시범지역 3년 차를 맞아 정보 사각지대를 해소하고 교육 정책의 체감도를 높이기 위해 3월 중 시 공식 누리집에 ‘교육/청소년’ 전용 메뉴를 신설·운영한다고 밝혔다.

Donghae City announced that it will launch a dedicated “Education/Youth” section on its official website in March, marking the third year of its designation as a pilot Education Development Special Zone. The move aims to eliminate information gaps and enhance public accessibility to education policies.

그동안 교육정책 홍보에 활용된 외부 플랫폼(네이버 밴드)은 연령 제한으로 인해 주 수요자인 청소년이 직접 가입하거나 정보를 확인하는 데 한계가 있었다. 이에 시는 청소년들이 스스로 필요한 정보를 찾고 각종 혜택을 누릴 수 있도록 공식 누리집 내 공신력 있는 통합 창구를 마련했다.

Previously, the city relied on external platforms such as Naver Band to promote education policies. However, age restrictions limited direct access for youth—the primary beneficiaries. To address this issue, the city has created an official, integrated portal within its website, enabling young people to independently access reliable information and various benefits.

특히 이번 개편은 여러 부서에 분산돼 있던 청소년 시설 및 프로그램 안내, 청소년증 발급, 장학금 및 각종 혜택 정보를 하나의 메뉴로 통합 제공함으로써 시민들이 ‘원스톱’으로 확인할 수 있도록 편의성을 대폭 강화했다.

The new system consolidates previously scattered information—including youth facilities and programs, youth ID issuance, scholarships, and other benefits—into a single menu. This “one-stop” service significantly improves convenience for citizens.

신설 예정인 메뉴는 메인 페이지 내 ‘교육발전특구’ 바로가기 배너를 통해 직관적으로 접근할 수 있으며, 만 9세부터 24세까지의 청소년과 학부모라면 누구나 제약 없이 최신 교육 정책과 지원 혜택을 실시간으로 확인할 수 있다.

The new section will be easily accessible via a prominent “Education Development Special Zone” banner on the main page. Youth aged 9 to 24 and their parents will be able to access up-to-date education policies and support programs in real time without restrictions.

#천수정 체육교육과장은 “청소년들이 가입 제한 등으로 정보를 접하지 못해 혜택에서 소외되는 일이 없도록 하는 것이 이번 개편의 최우선 목적”이라며 “이를 바탕으로 시범지역 운영 성과를 체계화해 교육발전특구 정식 지정을 위한 기반을 더욱 공고히 하겠다”고 말했다.

Cheon Su-jeong, Director of the Physical Education and Education Division, stated, “Our top priority is to ensure that no youth is excluded from benefits due to access restrictions. Building on this initiative, we will systematically organize the achievements of the pilot program and strengthen the foundation for official designation as an Education Development Special Zone.”
