강릉교육지원청, 설맞이 전통시장 방문으로 청렴·상생 실천

강릉교육지원청(교육장 김기현)은 2월 9일부터 2월 12일까지 4일간 ‘소통의 날 행사’를 운영하며, 교육장을 비롯한 전 직원이 강릉 관내 전통시장을 방문해 점심 간담회와 설맞이 장보기 활동을 진행한다.

Gangneung Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Ki-hyeon) will operate a four-day “Communication Day Program” from February 9 to February 12, during which all staff members, including the superintendent, will visit traditional markets in Gangneung to hold lunchtime meetings and participate in Lunar New Year shopping activities.

이번 행사는 민족 최대 명절인 설을 앞두고 ▲침체된 지역 경제 활성화 기여 ▲동부시장 및 서부시장 소상공인 응원 ▲전통시장 이용 촉진을 통한 지역 상생 실천은 물론 ▲명절 전후 청렴 의식 고취 및 투명한 공직문화 확립을 목적으로 추진되었다.

The program was designed ahead of the Lunar New Year with the goals of contributing to the revitalization of the local economy, supporting small business owners in Dongbu and Seobu Traditional Markets, promoting the use of traditional markets to foster regional coexistence, and reinforcing integrity awareness and transparent public service culture before and after the holiday season.

특히, 이번 시장 방문을 통해 검소하고 청렴한 명절 보내기 캠페인을 병행함으로써 지역사회에 신뢰받는 교육행정을 구현하고, 공직사회의 솔선수범하는 청렴 실천 의지를 다질 계획이다.

In particular, the visits will be conducted alongside a campaign promoting modest and ethical holiday practices, aiming to strengthen public trust in educational administration and reaffirm public officials’ commitment to leading by example in integrity and ethical conduct.

#김기현 교육장은 “이번 설맞이 전통시장 방문이 지역 상인들에게 실질적인 보탬이 되는 동시에, 직원들이 청렴의 의미를 되새기며 시민들과 소통하는 계기가 되길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 청렴한 조직문화를 바탕으로 지역사회와 공감하고 상생하는 교육행정을 지속적으로 실천해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Superintendent Kim Ki-hyeon stated, “I hope this Lunar New Year visit to traditional markets will provide meaningful support to local merchants while also serving as an opportunity for our staff to reflect on the value of integrity and engage with citizens,” adding, “We will continue to practice educational administration that resonates with and grows alongside the local community, grounded in a strong culture of integrity.”
