강원애니고, ‘제1기 기특한 명장’ 배출… 강원지역 최초 성과

강원애니메이션고등학교(교장 이재섭)는 한국산업인력공단 글로벌기술진흥원이 대한민국 숙련기술의 지속적 발전을 위해 신설한 ‘제1기 기특한 명장’에 본교 3학년 문한나 학생이 선정됐다고 24일(수) 밝혔다. 이번 선정은 강원지역 최초이자 유일한 성과로, 그 의미를 더하고 있다.

Gangwon Animation High School announced on Wednesday the 24th that senior student Moon Hanna has been selected as a member of the 1st cohort of “Outstanding Young Master Artisans,” a new honor established by the Global Institute of Skills Advancement under the Human Resources Development Service of Korea to promote the sustainable development of skilled craftsmanship in Korea. This marks the first and only achievement of its kind in Gangwon Province.

수상 소식을 접한 강원애니고 학생들은 “기술뿐 아니라 강원대회와 전국대회 참가를 통해 꾸준히 노력한 성실함이 인정받은 것 같아 의미가 깊다”, “자신의 자리에서 최선을 다하는 노력이 사회에서 가치 있게 평가받을 수 있다는 점을 느꼈다”며 긍정적인 반응을 보였다.

Students expressed positive reactions, saying, “It feels especially meaningful that not only technical skills but also consistent effort through provincial and national competitions were recognized,” and “This award shows that dedication and sincerity in one’s own field can be valued by society.”

특히 애니메이션 분야에서의 꾸준한 창작 활동과 도전이 전국 단위 시상으로 이어지면서, 학생들의 전공 학습에 대한 동기와 자긍심도 크게 높아졌다는 평가다.

The recognition at the national level, rooted in continuous creative work and challenges in animation, has significantly boosted students’ motivation and pride in their major studies.

강원애니고 학생들은 이번 ‘기특한 명장’ 배출을 계기로, 애니메이션 창작을 통해 사회에 긍정적인 메시지를 전하고 싶다는 의지를 다졌으며, 학교 현장에서도 전공 교육과 인성 교육이 결합된 교육의 성과라는 평가가 이어지고 있다.

Inspired by this achievement, students reaffirmed their commitment to delivering positive social messages through animation, while educators highlighted the result as a successful integration of specialized vocational training and character education.

#이재섭 교장은 “앞으로도 학생들의 전공 역량과 바른 직업 가치관이 함께 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 교육활동과 창작 중심 프로젝트를 지속적으로 운영해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Principal Lee Jae-seop stated, “We will continue to expand creative, project-based learning and diverse educational activities so that students’ professional competencies and sound career values can grow together.”

강원애니고는 앞으로도 학생들의 창의성을 바탕으로 한 자기주도 학습과 활동을 강화해, ‘기특한 명장’이 지속적으로 배출될 수 있는 교육 환경을 만들어갈 방침이다.

The school plans to further strengthen student-centered, self-directed learning based on creativity, fostering an educational environment that can continuously produce future Outstanding Young Master Artisans.
