Gangwon Provincial University has achieved another milestone — rising once again as a nationally recognized leading startup-focused college in Korea.

 5회 연속 선정, 그리고 ‘대상’의 영예

 Five Consecutive Recognitions, Now Crowned with the Grand Prize

강원도립대학교(총장 최종균)는 매일경제신문과 한국창업보육협회가 주관하는

‘2025 대한민국 창업우수대학’ 전문대학 부문 종합대상(매일경제신문 사장상)을 수상했다.

This year, Gangwon Provincial University received the Grand Prize in the Junior College Category at the 2025 Korea Outstanding Startup University Awards, hosted by Maeil Business Newspaper and the Korea Business Incubation Association.

이번 수상으로 대학은 2020~2023년, 그리고 2025년까지 총 5회 연속 창업우수대학에 선정되는 성과를 이루었다.

This marks the university’s fifth consecutive recognition since 2020, solidifying its reputation as a leading startup-focused institution.

2년제 전문대학 1위, 강원 창업보육센터 최초의 대상

No.1 Among Junior Colleges, First Grand Prize for Gangwon’s Incubation Centers

올해 대학(4년제) 대상은 포항공대가, 전문대학 대상은 강원도립대학교가 차지했다.

Among 4-year universities, POSTECH won the Grand Prize, while Gangwon Provincial University was selected as the top junior college in Korea.

특히 강원도 내 창업보육센터 최초의 종합대상이라는 점에서 더욱 의미가 깊다.

Notably, it is also the first business incubation center in Gangwon Province to receive this honor.
