산모 불편 최소화, 공공 돌봄 공백 방지

1. 삼척시, 공공산후조리원 운영 지속

Samcheok City Will Keep the Public Postnatal Care Center Open

삼척시는 2026년 3월 운영이 중단될 예정이었던 공공산후조리원을

신축 공사가 완료될 때까지 계속 운영하기로 결정했습니다.

Samcheok City announced that the Public Postnatal Care Center, originally planned to close in March 2026, will continue operating until the new building is completed.

2. 신축까지 약 2년 소요

New Facility Expected to Take About Two Years to Complete

신축 산후조리원 완공까지 약 2년이 걸릴 것으로 예상됩니다.

그동안 삼척시는 산모 불편이 없도록 다음을 추진합니다:

노후 시설 리모델링

산모 편의시설 확충

의료·간호 인력 보강

It will take about two years to build the new center.

During this period, Samcheok City will work to reduce inconvenience for mothers by:

Renovating old facilities

Improving convenience facilities for mothers

Adding more medical and nursing staff

3. 강원특별자치도·삼척의료원과 협력

Cooperation with Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province and Samcheok Medical Center

삼척시는 강원특별자치도와 삼척의료원과 함께

산모와 신생아에게 최적의 공공 돌봄 서비스를 제공할 계획입니다.

Samcheok City will cooperate with the provincial government and Samcheok Medical Center to provide the best public care services for mothers and newborn babies.

4. 도(道)에서 요청 전격 수용

Province Accepted the City’s Request

산후조리원 폐원 가능성에 대한 지역의 걱정이 커지자,

삼척시는 강원도에 운영 지속을 요청했고, 도에서 이를 빠르게 받아들였습니다.

As local concerns about possible closure grew, Samcheok City requested continued operation, and the province quickly accepted the proposal.

5. 향후 계획

Future Plans

삼척시는 산후조리원 운영과 별도로

신축 삼척의료원 이전부지 활용, 민간투자 유치 등

지역 상권 활성화도 계속 추진할 예정입니다.

Separately from the postnatal center, Samcheok City will also work on developing the site of the relocated medical center and attracting private investment to revitalize the local economy.
