속초교육문화관, 2025년 ‘책 읽는 가족’ 선정

속초교육문화관(관장 안영자)은 11월 6일, 경동대 글로벌캠퍼스 선덕관 2층 임시 사무실에서

2025년 ‘책 읽는 가족’에게 인증서와 작은 감사의 선물을 전했습니다.

This year, the Sokcho Education & Culture Center presented certificates and gifts

to the families selected as the 2025 “Family Reading Together” honorees.

책 읽는 가족, 한 권의 책이 한 사람을 넘어 가족을 잇다

A book is more than a book — it becomes a bridge between family members.

‘책 읽는 가족’ 캠페인은 2002년부터 한국도서관협회와 전국 도서관이 함께 이어온

가족 독서 문화 확산 프로그램입니다.

Since 2002, this national campaign has encouraged families across Korea

to build a warm reading culture together.

선정 기준은 전년도 대출 권수, 가족 구성원별 이용 실적,

도서관 규정 준수 여부, 다양한 분야의 도서 이용 등을 종합적으로 살펴 진행됩니다.

Families are selected based on the number of books borrowed,

individual family members’ reading activity, adherence to library guidelines,

and their use of books across various genres.

2025년 책 읽는 가족으로는

△ 강성희 가족 △ 오현정 가족이 선정되었습니다.

This year’s honored families are

△ The Kang Sung-hee family △ The Oh Hyun-jung family.

 “책이 우리를 한 자리로 모아주었다”

“Reading brought us together in ways we never expected.”

선정된 가족들은

“속초교육문화관에서 빌린 책을 함께 읽으며 나눈 대화와 시간이

우리 가족에게 큰 기쁨이 되었고, 오래 기억될 추억이 되었다”고 말했습니다.

The selected families shared that

“the moments spent reading and talking together with books borrowed from the library

have become precious memories that will stay with us.”

교육문화관의 다짐

A promise to keep the community and culture connected.

“책 읽는 가족 선정을 계기로 지역 주민들의 독서 활동을 더욱 장려하고,

개축 공사 기간에도 주민들과의 연결을 놓치지 않겠다”고 전했습니다.

Director Ahn Young-ja expressed her commitment to

nurturing family-centered reading culture and staying connected with residents

even during reconstruction.

또한 앞으로도 찾아가는 독서·문화 프로그램과

다양한 온라인 서비스를 통해

“일상 속에서 책과 문화가 살아 숨 쉬는 속초”를 만들겠다고 밝혔습니다.

She also shared plans to continue offering mobile reading programs

and enhanced online services so that

“books and culture remain part of daily life in Sokcho.”
